Your P.O.V:

The bell rang, and I flew off, heading to my Music class. Walking into the classroom, a few students were already seated and waiting for the teacher to allow us to enter the practise rooms. I sat down in the very back of the room and put my head down on the desk, my arms wrapped around me. I stayed like that for a while until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up, blinking a few times and saw the cute new boy standing in front of me.

"Hey...uh, CC, right?" I questioned. He nodded, and I was relieved I got the right name.
"Um, hi, sorry if I, uh, woke you or something, but, uh, can I, uh, work with you? I don't, ya know, know anyone else here," he stuttered, pointing at the empty seat beside me. I nodded, and he smiled gratefully and slid into the seat.

"Are you okay? A couple of people were staring at you as they walked in," he said as the teacher walked into the room.

"Not really," I replied as the teacher began talking, explaining that our performances were due the next week and that practise rooms were open at lunch times and let's go practice. I shot up out of my seat and started off towards the instrument storeroom to grab my guitar. CC followed me like a lost puppy and I held the door to my usual prac room open as he trailed behind me.

"So, you're probably not gonna have to do the assessment coz there's only a week before we have to present to the class but if you want to, you can play around on the instruments," I said, unlatching my case and pulling out my guitar. I gave it a quick strum and a tune while CC watched in silence.

"Can I hear what you're doing?" he asked. I nodded, and he smiled again.
"Uh, yeah sure. It's called Mr. Doctor Man," I gave a small smile.

"Awesome!" he replied.

"Yeah," I blushed.
"Can I hear?" he asked.

"Sure. Can you count me in?" I asked, readjusting my seat. He nodded, and I took a deep breath, nodding when I was ready.

"One, two, three," He counted me in (If your name is Maria, *cough cough*, you're welcome) and I began playing.

"I'm Mr. Doctor Man questions his hands,
Lost his mind, clinically fine.
But he found a way to cope, needle in his throat.
Falling down but the world is spinning round and round he knows,

Up, down but the world keeps spinning round and round.
I see this place ain't big enough for me.
I want you to take me away way, way, way, baby.
Up down but the world keeps spinning round and round,
I see this place ain't big enough for me,
I want you to take me away way, way, way.

What you want to say?
Chemically it's running through my veins you see?
Romance of the plastic scenes,
I can't see you breathe,
They're coming after me.
Honestly, it's running through my veins you see,
I don't need their surgeries,
I just want to be...
They're coming after me!

There's a little story I'd like to tell,
About this little boy who came from hell.
Sit right there and listen real good,
I'll tell you all the ways he's misunderstood.
But I see you standing there with that ol' wicked stare,
Just stay for the show,
Are you ready? No.

Are you ready? No.

Chemically it's running through my veins you see?
Romance of the plastic scenes,
I can't see you breathe.
They're coming after me!
Honestly, it's running through my veins you see,
I don't need their surgeries,
I just want to be...
They're coming after me

I'm Mr. Doctor Man who questions his hands,
Lost his mind but is clinically fine.
Found a way to cope, needle in his throat.
Falling down, but the world is spinning round,

I'm stuck in the boom boom room.
People are dancing after their operation,
I want you to move.
But nobody's moving after their medication,
I can't hear the room.
People are dancing after their operation,

I want you to move.
But nobody's moving at all!

Chemically it's running through my veins you see?
Romance of the plastic scenes,
I can't see you breathe.
They're coming after me!
Honestly, it's running through my veins you see,
I don't need their surgeries,
I just want to be...
They're coming after me

Oh no!
Oh oh no no!
Oh no no no!
They're coming after me!
Oh no!
After me!
No no!
They're coming after me!"

I ended the song and CC began applauding enthusiastically.

Like, three-quarters of this chapter is just lyrics but I'm not sorry. (Yes, I am, honestly, I'll try and make the next chapter better). Also, this is from my Emerson x Reader that I'm writing so if you liked it, let me know, please!! (I wanted it to be CC, not Emerson coz my other lil drummer bean needs some love)

Love you, stay alive, stay safe, stay strong.
