Jeongguk was running faster then he ever has before through the dark forest of Lian Yu. Branches whipped into his face, but he paid no attention to them as he continued fleeing from the irate guards.

He had been trying to steal an intercom from the camp, but he was caught red-handed, so before he could get shot at, he took off running back into the woods he came out of.

His breathing was slowly starting to become labored, and he realized that he had almost reached the edge of the island. It was either jump down into the rocky waters below, or get caught and suffer a far greater death.

So, with that thought in mind, he jumped off the edge, plummeting into darkness below. His body hit the freezing water, but to Jeongguk it felt like he was slammed against a brick wall. His breath was knocked out of him, and for a second he passed out under water.

His eyes shot open, and he sucked in a huge gulp of water. Jeongguk went into a coughing fit as he fought to swim up to the surface. His body was growing weak with fatigue, as he had not eaten in two days. Fortunately, he fought hard against the angered ocean and made it to the surface, taking in a breath of fresh air. He looked up to the ledge he had just came from, and spotted lanters in the heavy fog that belonged to the searching guards.

He smirked, knowing he had just won the little chase. Jeongguk waded to shore, climbing up and falling into a heap of flesh. He curled his fists around the corse sand, rubbing his palms against the hard substance.

It had been three years since he floated onto this island. Three years since he saw his dad shoot himself right in front of him to save his son's life. Three years since he seemingly lost everything.

"Jeongguk, we were able to find out who that guy was with your mom. His name is Levius Kohan, leader of the mafia group called Talon. We think they were residing in the same place in China that your mom and sister were at on their business trip. Namjoon and I are still working out on how to find out exactly what's wrong with your mom, but we do know that that lady you saw was not her. Levius must have found or created some drug that changes the mind. We also still do not know where Jennie is at, but trust me, Namjoon and I are working as fast as we can on solving this mystery."

Jin's voice held a silent promise in it, reassuring the worried vigilante on the other end of the phone. Jeongguk had been pressuring the two team members to hurry up and find whoever the guy was, and what he was doing with his sister and mom.

"Thank you, Jin. Seriously. Tell Namjoon I said thank you as well. I'm sorry for putting so much pressure on you two. I've just been so worried..." He trailed off, looking out of one of the kitchen windows.

"Jeongguk, it's fine, honestly. We want to find out who this is as much as you do. We're honored to be doing this."

Jeongguk smiled lightly. Jin always knew what to say.

"Thanks, Jin. I need to go wake Tae up."

"Of course, go wake up your sleeping baby boy."

Jeongguk rolled his eyes, "Babygirl, thank you very much."

He heard Jin gasp on the other side of the phone, but he quickly hung up before he would be bombarded with the 'awes' of Jin.
