Taehyung walked through Jeongguk's empty home that night, the silence becoming almost deafening. He stopped in front of a polaroid on the kitchen counter, a small smile forming on his face.

It was a picture of him and Jeongguk, with Jeongguk's arms wrapped around him and their lips connected in a sweet kiss. He remembered this moment clearly, and the memories rushed back to him.

"Kookie... Tell me where we're going!" Taehyung whined, picking at the blindfold that covered his eyes. Jeongguk opened the car door, kissing his boyfriend on the lips softly.

"Be patient, babygirl. You'll love it. Now get you're pretty ass inside the car." Jeongguk gently pushed Taehyung down into the car, shutting the door behind him. He walked to the other side and got in, starting the engine.

While he was driving, he felt a gentle touch on his free hand that lay beside him. Looking down, Jeongguk's features brightened as he watched Taehyung interlock their fingers. Jeongguk glanced over at his boyfriend, who was dressed in black jeans, black boots, and a pink sweater. It was still a little cold out in Star City, being only a week after Christmas. Jeongguk himself dressed in all black, not seeing the point in dressing up when he knew where they were going.

"How much longer..." Taehyung whined again, bringing Jeongguk out of his thoughts.

"Actually, we're here. Keep your blindfold on, baby." Jeongguk said as he got out of the car, rushing to the other side and leading Taehyung out as well.

Taehyung first heard the sound of rushing water, then the soft chirps of birds. "Are we going camping? Because if we are, I'm leaving you here and finding a hotel. I do not do outdoors."

Jeongguk laughed and rolled his eyes, "No, we're not going camping. That has given me an idea about next time, though." Taehyung hit his chest, clutching onto Jeongguk's hands with his own so he wouldn't fall over or run into anything— specifically a tree.

The rushing water got louder the farther they walked, and Taehyung began to feel the moisture in the air stick to his skin. "Okay, we're here." Jeongguk whispered, standing behind Taehyung. He slowly pulled the blindfold off of Taehyung's head, smiling brightly.

Taehyung's eyes took a few seconds to get adjusted to the light, and as soon as they did he gasped loudly. "What the..." He whispered, taking in the gorgeous sight before him.

The waterfall before them ran strong, sending water over the edge of the cliff above them. It was beautiful. The water pooled around their feet, wetting Taehyung's own. Luckily, he was wearing his waterproof boots so he didn't have to worry about wet socks— which were actual satan spawn.

"Do you like it? I heard you talking to Hoseok one time about how you've always wanted to see a waterfall... so I searched up the closest one and found this!" Jeongguk exclaimed, taking Taehyung's hand in his own. Taehyung's eyes shifted to his boyfriend, not able to stop smiling.

"I love it, Kookie! Thank you so so so much!" Taehyung leapt forward into Jeongguk's arms, wrapping his own around Jeongguk's neck. Jeongguk chuckled, peppering small kisses on Taehyung's exposed collar bone.

Taehyung pulled back, his smaller hands cupping Jeongguk's face. "I love you," he whispered, his voice unwavering as he stared at his lover. Jeongguk smiled brightly, "I love you too, angel."

A blush covered Taehyung's cheeks as he leaned down and connected their lips. Jeongguk's were soft and tasted of strawberry, making Taehyung hungry for more. Luckily, no one else was at the waterfall to witness the hot makeout session.

Jeongguk moved his left hand up and rested it behind Taehyung's head, while his right slowly snaked its way under Taehyung's sweater. His fingers glided across the small of Taehyung's back, reveling in the smoothness of his skin.

Above, his lips moved fast, and he swiped his tongue across Taehyung's bottom one, asking for entrance. Taehyung parted his lips, allowing for Jeongguk to delve his tongue into his lover's mouth. Soft whimpers and moans were escaping Taehyung, driving Jeongguk further and further.

The pair broke apart for air, their breath mixing together from the closeness of eachother. Jeongguk sighed, their foreheads resting against one another.

"I bought a polaroid camera, just so I could capture this moment."  He whispered, reaching down and unclipping it from around his waist. Taehyung smiled, "Never took you for an old fashioned guy."

"Ah, be quiet." Jeongguk grumbled, wrapping his arms back around Taehyung.

Taehyung giggled, leaning forward once more to connect their lips. The flash of the camera and the soft click of the photo being taken was the only thing heard, the waterfall behind them long forgotten.

Taehyung didn't realize the tears that were freely flowing down his face until the loud knocking on Jeongguk's front door broke him out of his memories. Quickly, he wiped them away as best as he could and rushed towards the door. It was one at night, so whoever was here had an important reason— or it was just a murderer.

He opened the door, his eyes widening when he saw Seunghyun standing there. "Seunghyun... what are you doing here at one in the morning?" Taehyung asked, confusion evident on his face.

"Jiyong just called me, he said Jeongguk was waking up. Everyone's already at the hospital, but Jeongguk keeps calling for you. He sent me to come get—"

Taehyung was out the door in a flash, not bothering to wait and hear Seunghyun finish. He ran to the car Seunghyun had drove here, hopping into the passenger seat and slamming the door behind him. "Let's go!" He yelled, watching anxiously as Seunghyun ran after him.

"Is he okay? Is he hurting? Does he remember us?" Taehyung was firing questions at rapid speed, and Seunghyun wasn't able to keep up.

"He's okay, Taehyung, but you being this anxious won't help his situation. Just take a minute and calm down, alright?"

Taehyung reluctantly nodded his head, knowing what Seunghyun was saying was right. He didn't want to hurt Jeongguk or his condition by being a giant ball of anxiety when he walked through the hospital doors.

Throughout the ride, he noticed his eyes grow heavy and start to droop, but he shook his head and forced himself to stay awake throughout the entire ride there. He couldn't fall asleep now, not when the love of his life was awake and needed him.
