Life as Jade Day: 31
It’s been a month ever since I started this entire I’m Jade thing.
Kiefer is just Kiefer,
Nia is just Nia
And pretty much everyone is pretty much just everyone.
Except for Lucas.
I feel like as every day passes by, I’m starting to like him.
I know how wrong it is to have a crush on your sister’s boyfriend but I just can’t help it! I’m just a regular girl that wants to experience love and being loved.
And so far?
I love it.
As usual my alarm blares through my room and I am forced to walk across the room to turn it off since Nia had pretty much glued it on my dresser.
As soon as I turn it off my natural instinct tells me to toss it in my closet and I do and realize that it is stuck to the dresser. Second instinct? I grab a throw pillow and threw it from across the room. Didn’t budge. I feel free anyway, this is always how I feel when I turn alarm clocks off. It’s like I got out of prison or something but everyone feels that right?
Or maybe it’s just me.
I walk out my room, face towel and clothes in hand as I walk towards the bathroom. As soon as I get in I shut it behind me before washing my face. After I wash my face I change.
Today I wear a stripped tank top, over that I have a crop top that says ‘GEEK’ then I have dark wash skinny jeans and white TOMS before combing through my messy mane called hair. I curled it and put on some makeup to cover my eye bags from studying up until 1 am.
One I’m done I step out of the bathroom to see Nia rushing past me to use the bathroom.
“Good morning to you too.” I mutter before walking to the small kitchenette to see she has cooked bacon. Yum. I grab a plate before taking most of the bacon strips before eating it with my fingers.
My hands are clean! FYI!!!
We just never really have the time to eat a full blown breakfast so we usually have sandwiches, cereal and toast.
College life people.
After eating I grab our carton of apple juice, pouring it into my cup before gulping down. Halfway through pretty much inhaling my drink, Nia steps out with a small smile tugging at her lips as she grabbed the left over bacon and eating it.
“Mondays suck, don’t you think?” She asked me and I nodded, finishing the drop before slamming the plastic cup on the island table. I then scurried to the bathroom to brush my teeth. And when I was finished I went back to my room, grabbing my cross-body Kipling that I normally use as a shoulder bag.
“Hurry up Jade!” Nia shouted from outside. I checked my outfit one last time, fixing something a bit here and there before grabbing my ID and pretty much sprinting out the door.
This is my everyday school routine for you guys.

“Jaaaade!!! I have something for you!” Fiona chirped from across the open cafeteria.
I turn my head to see her running up to our table excitedly, her red hair in curls and today she wore a fluffy white sweater with a floral pink skirt, black tights and boots covering the rest of legs and feet.
