Life as Jade Day: 31 (same day)

This pain is unbearable.

After watching Frozen, we then went home and I immediately went to my bedroom to sulk.

“Maybe you’d like a short visit to the pool.” Nia suggested before I went in my room.

Maybe I should go to the pool. For old times sake.

So I put on a black one piece swimsuit that Jade conveniently had and tied my hair back into a high pony tail. I grabbed a towel and put on some flip flops. I quickly rubbe on some sunblock since the sun was still out an stepped outside.

“Nia I’m going to the pool!” I announced as I walked towards the door.

“I’ll catch up with you later’ kay? Got some studying to do!” She replied. I grabbed my room card and quickly escaped the condo and up the building we go!

As soon as I got there I rinsed myself in their shower and just gawked at how it was so beautiful. I had to use my card to get in here too. So it’s good thing I brought it with me.

I dipped my feet in the somewhat warm water before dunking myself in the water fully.

Oh how I just miss this.

I started doing laps of freestyle and butterfly since I learned that during my life there back at my real home.

“Ugh the sun is setting, how do I tan now?” I heard a familiar voice complain I stopped swimming to see it was just Nia in a red two piece swimsuit.

“Doesn’t tanning with the sun cause skin cancer?” I asked swimming towards her.

“Really? Well I’m not really gonna tan just gonna get me some vitamin e.” She says, settling down on the pool bench next to mine, where I had set my towel and other stuff down.

“Black looks good on you, by the way.” Nia pointed out as she slipped on her expensive looking shades.

“Thanks.” I replied before going back to my swimming. Swimming has been sorta a hobby for me while I was still home prisoned.

It's not a prison when you happily agreed to it.

Shut up brain.

It was definitely better than pretending it was raining with the shower, I wasted so much water on those days.

I back flipped underwater and just swam close the pool floor.

I feel so secure here, underwater that is.

Suddenly I heard a muffled voices that sounded like Nia and a man’s voice.

I swam up to the surface to see it was well… Lucas.

“Lucas get the hell out of here, she doesn’t want to see you!” Nia stressed trying to push him out of the way but he didn’t budge.

Scenes like this only happen when the victim is in her room! And I’m here on water! How ironic things are really.

“Please, I need to see her!” Lucas begged and I’m taken aback from what he said.

H-he still wants to see me?

After he cheated on me?

Should I just go back underwater and pretend I didn’t hear a damn thing?
