Hiccup: ok, this is a hologram projector. We go to the projection room and our actions will control the holograms. We pretend he's not here and if he tries to get our attention he'll pass through "us"
Leanne: are you sure these hologram projectors will work?
Hiccup: I'm 99.9% sure
Ice: no time! just go to the projection room!
Everyone: *runs*
