That next day, Peter and Nikolina got ready for homecoming together. Peter had asked Liz so they were going together.

Nikolina laughed as Peter and May tried to tie Peter's tie. Nikolina had known how to tie a tie since she was a child, she always did it for her father.

"Come here." Nikolina told Peter. She tied his tie in seconds and tightened it. "There you go."

She also laughed as May tried to teach Peter to dance. All they did was wiggle awkwardly.

"Come on, you need to dance properly if you want to impress Liz. Like this." Nikolina grabbed Peter's hands. "Put that hand on my waist. This hand holds mine. And just follow my lead."

Nikolina taught him how to waltz, because he had absolutely no idea.

"How'd you learn all this?" May asked as she watched Nikolina struggle with Peter's dancing. "I mean, like the dancing and the tie."

"It was tradition in Sokovia. Every girl danced with her father at every party. The sons danced with their mother. And, since there were parties just about every night, I became an expert. As for the tie, my dad never learned to tie a tie, but he had to wear one daily for his job. So I tied it for him, day in and day out." Nikolina smiled at the memories. "No, Peter, stop. Like this. 1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3."

Then there was a knock on the door and May went to open it. She returned back with Tyler next to her.

"Nikolina, Tyler's here to pick you up. Peter, we should go as well." May said and the four left the apartment together. They then separated, May and Peter were heading to Liz while Tyler and Nikolina were headed straight to homecoming.

When they got into his car, Tyler got a good look at Nikolina.

"Wow, you look amazing!" Tyler complimented her and Nikolina could feel a blush creeping up on her neck.

"Thanks. You look good too." She gave an awkward laugh and Tyler smiled, starting the car.

When they arrived at Homecoming, they met up with Michelle and Ned and danced their asses off.

Then Liz walked in alone and Nikolina's eyes narrowed at her.

"Excuse me." Nikolina said to Tyler, stepping over toward Liz. "Hey, Liz, I thought you were going with Peter?"

"Oh, I am. My dad wanted to give him 'the talk'." Liz chuckled and Nikolina smiled. "You look amazing, by the way!"

"You too!" Nikolina spoke, embracing the girl in a hug.

Peter approached the two and Peter had a terrified look on his face. Liz sighed, "What did he say to you?"

"I got to go." Peter said and Liz narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm sorry. You don't deserve this."
