Nikolina moved her head to regain her senses, which seemed to work. Then she blasted off and flew as fast as she could after the plane.

Nikolina managed to grab Peter's arm before he fell and held him close. She moved them toward the wings that were placed on the outside of the ship.

"Grab this. Can you breathe?" When Peter shook his head, Nikolina made an air bubble and placed it by his mouth. "Better?"

"Thanks. Can you help me move this? He's gotten into the ship somehow." Peter said and Nikolina etched her hands into the plane before kicking at the wings. Eventually, they moved it a little bit but before they could move it more, the wings let go, the man controlling them.

He flew off but Peter grabbed him with a web. Nikolina made her way inside the plane to figure out what he had done, since he wasn't carrying any boxes. It only took one glance at the monitors to realize what was wrong. 

"Peter! Can you hear me?" Nikolina called out, begging that Peter had installed the comms into his suit.

"Yes, but I'm a little busy right now!"

"Okay, well, he changed the coordinates. The plane's headed toward the city! And I don't know how to change it." Nikolina was frantically tapping on the screen to try and change where they were heading, with no such luck.

Nikolina instead flew outside and placed her hands on the nose of the plane to try and get it to go more slower and do as she pleased. Peter webbed the wing of the plane to get it to turn.

The plane crashed on the beach but Nikolina kept her position to try and stop it before it hurt more people. She managed to get it to stop, but not without receiving some minor injuries in return.

Her whole body hurt and she couldn't hear properly, but she walked over towards where she heard commotion.

The bird-man noticed her and picked her up by the arm before throwing into the fire. Peter let out a pained scream and tried to shoot him down, but got pinned down and punched repeatedly.

As Nikolina could control fire, it didn't hurt her at all. It only made her warm. So she emerged from the flames and stopped the man's fist, mid punch.

She flicked him away but he held onto Peter before dropping him toward fire. Nikolina stopped him just before he would go up in flames and he webbed his way back up.

The man grabbed him and threw him on the ground. He also grabbed Nikolina with ease and punched them both to the ground.

They both rolled onto their backs and looked up at the man. He picked them up and prepared to end them when his eyes caught something else.

Nikolina landed roughly on the ground and felt her whole body tremble. It was like she had used her powers to their full potential and now her whole body had given up.
