The next day Nikolina had almost hit Peter when he told her that Ned had found out that he was Spider-Man.

"Peter, you can't just go around letting people know your secret identity!" Nikolina had yelled.

"I didn't let him know, he happened to be in my room when I climbed in through the window." Peter had defended himself.

"That's still letting him know, Peter. The more people that know about you, the more dangerous it is. Trust me, from someone whose superhero name is my own name, it's always worse." Nikolina had told him.

And the next morning, Ned had been fuming with Nikolina for not telling him that she knew Spider-Man. Nonetheless that she was living with him.

And and all day long Ned asked Peter questions like 'do you lay eggs?' 'Can you summon spiders?' and so on.

Now it was time for PE and the teacher was showing a video that Captain America had done for them.

"Do you know him, too?" Ned whispered to Peter.

"Yeah, I stole his shield." Peter said proudly and Nikolina sighed.

"Thank you, Cap. I'm pretty sure this guy's a war criminal now, but whatever. I have to show these videos, it's required by the state. Let's do it." He blew his whistle and everyone had to pair up in two. Michelle and Nikolina paired up and while Nikolina did flawless push-ups and sit-ups, Michelle laid on the floor next to her and read a book. The teacher walked by them. "Good job, Nikolina. Michelle, not so much."

"Peter knows Spider-Man!" Ned shouted and Nikolina fell flat on her stomach mid push-up. No, Ned, no, please, Nikolina thought.

Peter stood up, "No, I don't. No, I mean..."

"They're friends." Ned continued and Nikolina mentally slapped Ned with fire.

"Yeah, like Coach Wilson and Captain America are friends." Flash interjected, jumping down from his rope. Then he sent Nikolina a look and winked at her. Nikolina, who hated Flash's guts, almost gagged.

"I've met him a couple of times, yeah. A couple times. But, it's, uhm, through the Stark Internship. Mhm. Yeah, I'm not really supposed to talk about it." Peter told everyone in the gym who had stopped to look at them.

"That's awesome. Hey, you know what, maybe you should invite him to the party, right?" Flash asked, motioning over to Liz.

"Yeah, I'm having people over tonight. You're more than welcome to come." Liz added to Flash's statement.

"Having a party?" Peter asked, staring intensely at Liz. Nikolina sighed and laid her head down.

"Hey, you are way better looking than Liz. And way more funny." Michelle said after noticing Nikolina's strange behavior.

"No, she's cute and popular and nice and has his full attention. She has everything I don't." Nikolina complained. Michelle had understood by now that Nikolina had a crush on Peter. Actually, everyone could probably understand that. Except for Peter, of course.

"You know what, let his attention be on you tonight. That Tyler guy has his eye on you, right? So, dance with him at the party and make Peter jealous. But first, you need a makeover." Michelle had told Nikolina.

After school, Nikolina and Michelle were out at a mall, trying to find clothes for Nikolina. After shopping for what felt like an eternity, Nikolina found a nice dress. It was a longer, black bodycon dress.

And then they tried on shoes. Michelle wanted Nikolina to wear heels but she couldn't even take two steps without falling. So they went with some cute boots instead.

"Okay, you come to my house and we get ready and then we party." Michelle told Nikolina and they went to Michelle's house where Michelle did Nikolina's makeup. Nikolina never did much makeup so Michelle helped fix her makeup.

Then they left her hair as it was since Nikolina's hair was already quite nice. Then they put on their outfits and left for Liz's party.

When they arrived, they knocked and Liz opened.

"Nikolina, you look amazing! You too, Michelle! Come on in, girls!" Liz answered the door, stepping aside for the two girls to enter.

After a while, Nikolina approached Michelle, "I can't find Tyler anywhere. What if he's not here? Oh, this is a horrible idea! What if Peter hates me after this? What have I let you done?"

"Peter will only be more interested, calm down! Also, Tyler is right over there. Take this and drink, it'll give you courage." Michelle said, handing Nikolina a red cup. Nikolina downed the unknown substance and nearly threw it right back out.

"Oh, god! It burns. That's gross." Nikolina complained as she placed the cup on a table. Immediately, the alcohol took effect. Nikolina had never drunk alcohol in her life, so one cup of whatever that was would be more than enough. She stumbled toward Tyler, yelling his name.

"Nikolina, are you drunk?" He asked, worriedly grabbing her.

"I don't know what that means." Nikolina chuckled. The word 'drunk' was new for her. She cocked her head to the side and focused on the music. "Oh, I love this song. Dance with me!"

Nikolina dragged Tyler to the dance floor and within ten minutes, Tyler had gotten a few drinks himself and they were enjoying life and only focused on each other.

After a while, Peter and Ned stepped into the room, and after being distracted by Liz for a while, Peter noticed Nikolina dancing with Tyler and his heart dropped. This was one of the first times he realized his feelings for Nikolina.

"Penis Parker, what's up? Where's your pal, Spider-Man? Let me guess; in Canada with your imaginary girlfriend? That's not Spider-Man, that's just Ned in a red shirt." Flash called out into the microphone, using sound effects to make his diss sound cooler. Nikolina looked over at Peter, who looked back at her with a disappointed look.

Peter walked out the door and jumped on a roof to get changed. But, he never made it back to the party because there was an explosion that caught his attention.

After seeing Ned alone for ten minutes, Nikolina excused herself from Tyler and went to talk to Ned.

"Ned, where's Peter? I thought he'd be here." Nikolina asked the boy, downing her red cup. She had realized that HYDRA had put something to make effects go away faster, so her drunk-ness went away within fifteen minutes.

"He was here, and then he was meant to get changed and show up as Spider-Man, but he never made it in." Ned told her, looking out of the window to see if he could spot Peter.

"He looked at me like he hated me earlier." Nikolina told Ned while also trying to spot Peter.

"Maybe because you were grinding it up on Tyler over there." Ned raised his voice, shocking Nikolina.

"He was only here because Liz would be impressed, why does he care who I dance with?! You know what, I was going to try to find him, but you two seem to be doing great on your own. Enjoy yourselves." Nikolina snapped at Ned before going back to Tyler and getting more drinks for them.
