This is a horrible time for me to post this story because it is not finished and my semester test week is starting on Thursday but here I am, doing it anyway. This is an experimental story for me. I have no idea where I want to go with this story. I am literally taking this chapter by chapter. I really want to better my writing and I am going to try doing that with this story. So I may redo some chapter and then re-post it so just bear with me, please?
That being said, I hope you enjoy this unedited chapter. :)

"I want to tell you something, but you have to promise not to judge me!" Lifting an eyebrow, Melanie looks at the wide-eyed expression that her best friend is currently sporting on the screen of her phone. She couldn't wait to hear this. The last time Gracelyn said those words, Melanie found out that her very self-conscious, very prudish (meant in the best sense of the word of course) best friend went skinny dipping. In a public pool. Well, as public as an all-male boarding house pool can be. But still! Her best friend, naked, in a pool located smack-dab in the middle of four building filled with overly-hormonal boys. Yeah, Melanie judged her best friend really hard for that.
"What did you do this time?" Melanie asks as she readjusts her phone so that she could still see Grace and continue with the stir-fry she was making. "Streaked down the boy's corridor? No, wait! I know. You put your panties up for auction and made a ton of money and now we're going on a destination vacation! You know since exams just ended and we are already on vacation."
With narrowed eyes, Gracelyn draws out a no. "Why would you say something like that? Like I'd ever put my panties up for auction. I don't even put them in the public washing machine here! I wash them in my sink! And... and would you stop laughing!"
"Oh Gracelyn, you really are one of a kind" With a fond smile Melanie looks at her best friend's smiling face.
"But the best kind, right?" Gracelyn asks
"Now you're fishing for compliments. Come on, tell me what you did so that I can start judging."
"No, you are not allowed to judge me!" Gracelyn whines, putting on her best puppy dog face.
"Fine I won't judge you, even thou as your best friend it is my right, but just because you're blushing I promise to try my best not to judge you." Melanie holds up her pinkie for Gracelyn to see. "Now come on, out with it!" she insists.
With a heavy sigh, Gracelyn starts, "So, you remember how we talked about Noah last night, right?" Seeing Melanie nod she continuous, "Well what you said to me, I couldn't get it out of my mind. And then I told Audrey about it because I needed to rant and you weren't available, but then she wouldn't let it go. She kept asking me who this guy is that I'm ranting about and then she took a guess. She asked me if it was the guy we always see at Twist. And you know me and my facial expressions. She saw right through my lie when I told her it wasn't him."
With a frown, Melanie asks her, "So what exactly am I not allowed to judge? Because there is absolutely nothing to judge."
"No, I'm getting there. Wait. So, then Audrey had this bright idea. To go to Twist"
"Now it's getting interesting." Melanie interrupts her while throwing some spices on her veggies., but Gracelyn continues as if she hadn't heard a thing. "Audrey hoped to see Noah there and I hoped that he'd stay far away. As it turns out Lady Luck was on my side. But let me tell you, Lady Luck disappears as soon as alcohol passes over your lips. Two Strawberry Daquiri's and one tequila shot later and I find myself texting him. Telling him that I see him around Twist sometimes and that we should hang out the next we're both there."
