Haley

Haley just arrived home from her university. The test was a piece of cake, she overestimated how difficult it would be. She felt free because she didn't have class in the next two days. Haley could finally rest and explore Los Angeles.

Haley was about to take a nap when she heard a knock on her door. She wondered who it could be, she wasn't expecting anyone today.

When she opened the door, she was greeted by a face she'd seen yesterday.

"Hey, you're a cute girl and I'm a straight forward guy so let's just get to the chase. Would you like to stay the night?" The boy said as he winked at Haley.

Haley crinkled her freckled nose, "is this some kind of joke?" She asked.

Just then, he and two other boys started laughing. The other one from yesterday with the cap had a camera out and was recording what had just happened.

"Pay up, Durte Dom," the boy with the cap said.

"C'mon man, I'm not dealing, where am I supposed to get the money?"

The three boys started laughing harder.

"Is there something I'm missing here?" Haley asked after the three settled down.

"I bet him fifty dollars if he could hook up with you. Also sorry for not introducing ourselves first. I'm David, that's Dom," David said as he gestured towards the buzzed cut boy.

"And this is Alex," David pointed to the other boy with short light brown hair.

He waved to Haley and Haley smiled back at the three.

"I'm Haley, I actually just moved to LA."

"You're new? If you want we can give you a tour sometime. How does Sunday sound?" David invited politely.

"Yeah I'm free Sunday, I'd love that!" Haley said.

"Also you wouldn't mind if we put you in a video for YouTube?"

"Oh so you guys are YouTubers. That explains the camera."

"David's the YouTuber, he just pays our rent," Alex says and the four of them including Haley start laughing.

"Alright, be next door at two on Sunday," David confirms.

Haley smiled and nodded, "yup, see you then."

Alex

Alex recognized the girl. In fact, he knew exactly who she was. Haley Reign. She went to Belle Plaine high school and graduated with honours and was one of the prettiest girls at the school.

Well in his opinion she was one of the most gorgeous girls at the school. Alex used to have a crush on Haley Reign but he never really did anything about it.

She was always around her friends and he never had the courage to ask them to leave even though Alex had been one of the popular kids a school.

It's been three years since he saw her last. She looked much hotter than ever which Alex couldn't quite fathom. How could someone so perfect look even more perfect.

"Guys, I know that girl," Alex said to David and Dom.

"Well no shit, you just met her," Dom said.

"No I mean I've known her before today. Like way before. Like high school before."

"Okay Alex you can stop messing with us now," David said.

"I'm not lying. She's from Minnesota and her full name is Haley Reign. Here try searching her up on Instagram."

Both David and Dom pulled out their phones and starting typing out 'haleyreign' on the Instagram search engine.

"Holy shit, it is her," Dom said and David started laughing hysterically before pulling out his camera.

"Okay guys so we just found out that our new neighbour and Alex went to the same high school," David spoke to his camera. "Alex, she didn't even recognize you."

"Fuck off, David," Alex gave him the middle finger while laughing. He wasn't too bothered by it, maybe she was just too shy to acknowledge him.

David stopped recording and Dom told David and Alex to take a look at a photo that he pulled from stalking Haley's Instagram.

It was a photo of Haley standing on a beach holding a glass of tropical juice. In the photo she was looking down at the sand. It was captioned 'me, looking for extra cash after "living my best life"'

"She's hot and funny? Anything else?" Dom asked.

"And charismatic. And smart. Like really smart." Alex said.

"So that explains why she didn't want to smash Dom," David laughed followed by laughs from Alex and Dom.

Something in Alex was relieved that Haley didn't sleep with Dom. He didn't know what it was, protectiveness? Jealousy?
