Haley

Los Angeles was slowly starting to recognize Haley and she was loving the place all over again.

She's been back for a week now and has rekindled her friendship with the whole vlog squad. Well almost everyone except Alex.

They haven't been talking much since he now has a girlfriend. Haley thought she was over it the night Liza brought her to the plate smashing place but Haley couldn't bring herself to get over it.

What they had back then was a once in a lifetime thing and they ended it at a rough note. All Haley could do was live her life in Los Angeles knowing that the man she once loved doesn't think of her like that anymore.

Today David, Corinna, Todd, Liza, Alex, Emily and Haley were going to the beach again. This is what Haley did in her first ever week in Los Angeles so David thought it'd be a good idea to bring back memories.

This time around Haley was prepared, she had worn a bathing suit under her clothes.

They made it to a more private beach unlike Santa Monica which was bustling with people.

The sand was white and the water was crystal clear. Not to mention the radiant sun and blue sky. Today was the perfect beach day.

Haley stripped from her clothes and ran for the water. She was already sweating so why not cool down by taking a dip.

Everyone else except Alex and Emily headed straight for the water. It's their loss, swimming was so refreshing. Especially since there were no waves today.

David splashed Liza with water but this backfired because both Liza and Haley splashed him for revenge.

"I gotchu, Liza," Haley said.

"Stop, stop, I surrender," David said and the girls decided that he's had enough.

When Todd came back with a beach volley ball, everyone was delighted. Haley hasn't played volleyball since high school in which she used to play for a school team.

Todd served the ball to Haley and Liza, David was too busy recording.

Haley volleyed it back to the other side which consisted of Todd and Corinna. Her competitive side was starting to show.

When Corinna volleyed it back in Haley's direction, she took the opportunity to spike the ball in Todd and Corinna's side.

"One point to Haley and Liza," David said as the spectator.

The game went on for a few more minutes and everyone was astonished by how well Haley played.

Haley was spiking the ball and even hitting floaters which she wasn't aware she could perform.

She forgot all about Alex and Emily. She lived her life happily with her friends at that moment and that's all that mattered for now.

"Guys, you know what we should get?" Liza said, "ice cream!"

Everyone agreed on getting ice cream and the board walk had lots of flavours to offer. Haley settled on getting mint chocolate which was one of her favourite ice cream flavours.

"Can I have a lick of that? I've never tried mint chocolate," Liza said.

"For sure," Haley said before extending her ice cream for Liza to try.

When Liza had a taste of it she said, "oh my god this is delicious."

"Right!" Haley said.

She was having the time of her life right now. This was usually the case when she was around her best friends but throw in a beach and it makes it one hundred times more enjoyable.

When Liza and Haley came back to the others with ice cream, Todd and Corinna were finished building a sand castle.

David thought it'd be a good idea to ruin their creation and step all over it. Haley didn't consent but he did it anyway.

"No!" Todd yelled.

David was laughing hysterically while recording Todd and Corinna's reaction to the fall of their castle.

"David we worked so hard on that!" Corinna said.

"My bad. For what it's worth, it was a nice castle," David said.

"Fuck off," Todd said not able to restrain a smile, "I'll make another one and you can crush it if I can be in the vlog."

"Okay you're in the vlog if you make another one."

Todd and Corinna got back to work so Liza, David and Haley ended up just talking on the beach.

"I'm not putting them in the vlog," David said jokingly and Liza and Haley laughed.

The sun was setting and the sky was a beautiful mixed colour of purple, pink and orangey-yellow. The setting was perfect and would make an amazing picture.

"Hey David, can you take a picture of Liza and I?" Haley asked as she handed David her phone.

Haley and Liza took advantage of having a free personal photographer and went all out. They tried various poses and faces. Close up pictures and full body ones. They even took portrait and landscape.

"Thanks David," Haley smiled.

"Remind me to never agree to take your photos ever again," David said clearly exasperated.

Liza laughed at her boyfriend and they went through the photos. There was one in particular that Haley loved. It was candid and the short girls were laughing.

"I like this one," Haley showed it to Liza.

"Oh my gosh that's so cute!" Liza exclaimed, "if it matched my feed, I would post that."

"Your feed is so aesthetic, like, how do you manage it?"

"I don't. That's why I have a second account," Liza laughed.

When the sun has already set, Haley didn't want the day to end. It had been perfect. She didn't have to worry about school because it didn't start in another week for her.

If only every day could be as exciting as today.
