Haley had expected crazy when she moved to Los Angeles. She just didn't quite understand how crazy.

Haley finally arrived to Canada in a five hour flight in an uncomfortable seat. Her neck was aching from sleeping at a weird angle.
She then spotted her parents. Her parents were young when they had her so they still look radiant.
Haley ran towards them with her ponytail whipping behind her and bear hugged them.
"I missed you guys!" Haley said.
"We missed you too," they both said in unison.
"How about we take you out to dinner tonight," her mother said.
"That sounds delightful."
They drove through the beautiful white snow of the city and Haley was shocked by its beauty. She hadn't seen snow in a really long time.
Her parents brought her to a Chinese restaurant. Chinese food was probably her favourite next to Italian dishes.
"So how was Los Angeles?" Her father asked.
"It was great. I made a lot of friends and it's beautiful there. Though it gets really hot."
"That's why I love it here in Canada. The summer is nice but there's a good balance between the heat and the cold," her mom said.
The food was delicious. It was nice to catch up with her family again. Her parents were as loving as always even though they were in a tough position with money.
Haley would have to get a part time job to help her family with their debt.
"We're glad you're home, sweetie. The house has been too quiet without you," her mom said.
"Aw, I miss annoying you guys too."

It had been a week since Haley had been in Canada. She got a part time job as a waitress at her local Wind Wings. She was working an evening seven hour shift and was only three hours in. She hated it.
"Welcome to Wild Wings, I'll be your waitress for tonight. May I take your order?" Haley greeted some customers.
"Yes, I'll have the lemon chicken, the fries and your number," one of the guys said.
"Okay so that's lemon chicken and fries? Anything else?" Haley rejected. She'd just gotten out of a relationship and she wasn't over it.
"You forgot my third order. Your phone number," the guy pressed.
"I'm sorry sir that's not on the menu tonight."
"Dude you flat out got rejected," the other guy said.
This is going to be a long four hours.

Haley was finally finished her shift and got home at eleven in the evening. She was tired physically and mentally. The guy who flirted with her just didn't know how to take a hint.
Haley went straight to her bedroom and flopped on her bed. Time to catch up on social media.
Haley scrolled through Instagram, her explore page and her timeline.
