15.

Haley

Three months and Haley was back in Los Angeles. She was so excited to see everyone again. To see David, Liza and Corinna. And most of all, Alex.

She was in an Uber and on her way to David and Liza's house. Haley was gonna pull a little surprise on them.

Haley left her luggage on the front porch as she rang the doorbell. Hopefully they're all home, she'd love to see everyone's reactions.

A few moments of lurking outside, David opened the door and was surprised to see Haley.

"Did you miss me?" She asked.

"Holy shit," David said and pushed her outside.

He pulled her in for a tight hug before talking to her again, "we have to surprise the rest of the squad."

"That was the plan all along, Dobrik."

David sneaked Haley into the kitchen while everyone was in the living room. Everyone included Liza, Corinna, Todd, Scotty, Jason, Heath, Zane and Brandon. No Alex.

When David said the code word, that was her cue to get out from the kitchen.

After a few moments she heard it.

"I really miss Haley. I wish she was here," David said and Haley emerged from the kitchen.

Everyone went wild and most of their faces dropped.

"I'm back, bitches!" Haley yelled and the vlog squad all went to hug her.

Haley was sandwiched by all of her friends. God, she missed them so much.

"Oh my god, Haley, you're back!" Corinna said.

"I thought I was gonna go crazy around these idiots," Brandon said.

"Hay-bae!" Liza shouted.

The short pair hugged and smiled at their little reunion.

"C'mere, kid," Jason said and pulled Haley in for a hug.

"Is it just me or does Jason seem more and more like a father," David said which pointing his camera towards them.

Haley laughed. It felt so good to be back where she belonged.

"Don't get me wrong I love that you're back but how are you back? I thought your father lost his job," Zane said.

"I got a scholarship!" Haley said.

"Just how smart are you?" Brandon asked.

Haley laughed, "more than I let on that for sure."

The whole time that Haley was there was spent celebrating. She was happy to be back and so was the rest of the squad. They caught up on what they had missed.

"How was Canada?" Heath asked.

"Cold but beautiful. There's snow! Snow I tell you!" Haley said enthusiastically. 

"I wonder what that's like."

Corinna pulled Haley aside so that they could talk in private. Corinna pulled her in for a hug.

"I'm so glad you're back, all these guys were driving me crazy," Corinna said.

Haley laughed, "I can only imagine."

"Also I wanted to fill you up on something that you should know before you talk to Alex. He has a girlfriend."

"What!" Haley felt her heart skip a beat. "When did this happen?"

"About two weeks after you left."

"So soon?"

"That's what I was thinking. He hasn't really been around as often. That's what I wanted to tell you before you found out yourself. And don't worry, I already slapped him for you."

Haley forced a laugh but she was feeling heart broken. She couldn't believe how quickly Alex had gotten over her. She thought they could continue what they had going before she left.

Apparently not.

"You okay?" Corinna asked but a tear slipped from Haley's eye.

When Corinna saw this, she pulled Haley in for a comforting hug. It was long and exactly what Haley needed at a time like this.

"Thanks for telling me, Corinna."

"You would've done the same for me," she said. "Anyway, why don't we drink the night away?"

Haley laughed through tears at Corinna's suggestion. It wasn't the worst idea so Haley was on board. It would help her forget about everything that she learnt today.

Haley quickly wiped away the tears and made sure she looked as if everything were fine, even when things weren't. Today was supposed to be a good day, and it would be that way. She wouldn't let an ex boyfriend ruin that for her.

And the drinking commenced.

She was right about one thing, the drinking helped her forget about all that's happened.

Oh no. Alex has a new girlfriend. How will he react once he finds out that Haley is back from Canada. Hmm find out in the next chapter.
