Alex

It was the next morning after the party and Alex made his way to the kitchen to grab some breakfast. Last night was fun other than having to see Haley kiss Heath.

He didn't know why it bothered him so much. Alex had left mid party to go back to his room and have a good night sleep. He didn't want to think about what happened between Haley and Heath.

Alex was finished eating his breakfast when both David and Dom woke up. Alex was just watching football on the television.

"David, guess who owes me fifty dollars," Dom says.

"You did not!" Exclaimed David.

"Yes I did."

Alex suddenly lost it. He didn't understand this tang of anger but he was fuming.

"What the fuck, dude, she's our fucking neighbour!" Alex yelled.

"Woah why are you so mad?" Dom asked.

"Because we just met her four months ago and now she probably thinks we're just horny losers now!"

Alex didn't know what this adrenaline was but next thing you know, his fist connected to Dom's eye. David looked at him in disbelief. For once he did not have his camera out.

"Alex, chill, she's not gonna think we're like that," David said.

Alex gripped Dom's shirt collar and slammed him against the wall before walking away. He didn't know where he was going. He just knew he needed to get away from this place.

Alex took off and made his way to the local park where he would go from time to time. It was peaceful here, the sky was blue and the sun was out.

Why did Alex over react back at he apartment? Why did he care so much? Usually he doesn't care who Dom sleeps with but this time was different.

It was with someone he knew for a very long time and held close to him. Of course Haley never knew that though because he was too chicken to tell her back then.

"Howdy, stranger," someone said in a feigned western accent.

Alex looked up to see Haley standing there, looking down at him on the bench. He pretended to act normal as though nothing had happened but Haley seemed to see through that.

"Everything alright?" She asked as she took a seat near him. He shifted a little farther from her.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he said.

"You don't seem fine."

"Well I am so you can stop bothering me about it," Alex said irritatedly.

"Okay, sorry I asked," Haley said. They sat there in silence for a few moments.

"Last nights party was fun," she said.

"Yeah."

"Okay what's wrong with you Alex. You're usually talkative and more energized but right now, you're being super dry. If anything's bothering you, just tell me."

"You wanna know what's wrong? I just found out that the person I fell in love with since high school slept with one of my best friends. And now she's acting as if nothing happened. I bet you've fucked him before the party, haven't you? You're just like the rest of them! Horny 365 and I thought you were different." Alex went off but he didn't mean to hurt Haley's feelings. It just happened.

Haley stood up rather abruptly, clearly angry with him, "you know what Alex, I've never slept with him or anyone from the vlog squad for that matter. I was drunk and I wasn't thinking straight. Now I'm being antagonized for being a whore? You're unbelievable, Alex. And to think that I was starting to like you."

And with that, Haley stormed off leaving Alex on the park bench. He reflected on what he'd said to Haley. He regretted it as soon as the words came out of his mouth.

If he could take it back, he would in an instant. He didn't really think Haley was that kind of person. Alex had known her since high school and she'd never get into that kind of trouble.

Alex clenched his fist so tight that his knuckles turned white. He wanted to break something. He went back to his apartment in hopes of finding anything to destroy.
