Haley

It has been a week since the kiss between Haley and Alex. They still haven't talked about whether they were officially dating or not.

Haley was confused so today she would be confronting him about this topic. She had to know if they were dating, it was bothering her.

Haley and Alex were at Chick-Fil-A and they were sitting at a table together. They never really got alone time since everybody was always around.

"Alex, can I ask you a question?" Haley asked.

"Sure, hit me," he said.

"What are we?"

"Whatever you want us to be."

"But what do you want us to be?" Haley asked emphasizing the you.

"You're so indecisive." Alex chuckled, "I personally want you to be my official girlfriend."

Haley smiled, "then it's settled, you're my boyfriend and I'm your girlfriend."

Haley stole a fry from Alex's cheese fries.

"Hey," He said.

"Ahem, girlfriend privileges," Haley said as she stuck a fry into her mouth.

It felt nice to be able to hang out with Alex as more than just friends. He was humorous, charming and adorable.

"Second semester starts tomorrow," Haley told Alex.

"Aw. So you're telling me I can't just hang out with you all day?" Asked Alex.

"Sadly no but we can hang after," Haley said.

Haley was feeling too relaxed from a two week break to go back to school. All she needed to do was endure it for another four months and she'd have time to chill.

The pair was finished eating the fast food so they made their way back to their apartment. They still had to think about whether they're gonna tell the rest of the squad about their relationship.

"Should we tell the squad about us?" Haley asked.

"We'll give it a week. I want you all to myself this week."

Haley agreed with this decision. It was smart. If the squad were to find out they were dating, they'd be constantly harassing them about it.

In the evening, Alex brought Haley to see fireworks. They had been one of the most beautiful things Haley's seen since her time in Los Angeles.

Her smile grew while she was looking up at the black sky and the various vibrant colours that illuminated it. She looked back to Alex but he was already looking at her.

"I knew you'd like the fireworks," Alex said.

"Lucky guess?" Haley asked.

"Just your vibe I guess."

Haley smiled a toothy smile and shifted to lean her head against Alex. Her head was in the crook of Alex's neck and his arm was around her.

After a few minutes, Haley once again looked at him and pecked him on the lips.

"Thank you," Haley said.

"For what?" Alex asked.

"For being amazing and all that I could ask for."

"Aw, you getting sentimental on me?"

Haley jokingly mocked him but gave in, "yes I am but don't get used to it, Ernst."

Alex quickly pecked her on the lips.

"Stole a kiss," Alex said.
