"Everyone find a room and lock the doors! Do not come out without permission! We are on code red!" The announcements blasts through the speakers. What's going on Luka thought to himself, as he unstraps Morgana. Bam! Knock, knock! Someone starts knocking on the door, like they're in trouble. He looks through the doors small square window, at a boy with raven black hair and tanned skin. "Please open the door!" He begs. Luka quickly unlocks the door, letting the boy in, then locking it back almost immediately.

The boy hugs Luka, like he hasn't seen him in years, but Luka doesn't know him. He just stands there awkwardly. The boy let's him go, apologizing. Now that he's a distance away, Luka notices the boy's hair is way pass his shoulders. "Thanks man. You saved my life."

"What's happening out there?" Luka asks. "It's terrible. Those sick people that the news were talking about managed get inside the center. Two of them just started tackling and biting people. Some manage to get away before they could do real damage. Then seconds later, the people that were bit and got away started throwing up and bleeding from their eyes. Next thing I know, I'm getting chased down the hall by one. I managed to trick them and ran down here. I was trying to get into a room, but no one would let me in, but you did and I'm grateful. My name is Nino, by the way."

"Luka." So, they got in. "Oh, wow. Is that the girl who went on a rampage?" He points to Morgana. Luka nods. "She must be crazy. Hate to be stuck in here when she wakes up."

"She isn't crazy." Luka says more to himself. "Her name is Morgana and if you want to know what's wrong with her, read that journal. For the past six months she dreamt of zombies. It was harmless at first I assume, but now it drove her to go berserk. Yelling about the end days. And how we're going to die." Nino opens her journal and begins reading.

"This is some scary deep stuff. Such detail though." His eyes sparkle with fascinating. "Wait. I was just with a kid named Jack. He said he was new around town, but he got bitten by the infected. Kind of how he was bit in her dream." He looks up at me, wide eyed. "Are you telling me she seen all this coming, but everyone thought she was crazy? Yet, she only realized what she was seeing this morning?" Woah, he catches on fast. Pretty smart. "That's what I think. I don't know for sure. Why aren't you freaked out by this?" He only shrugs, "I use to have a thing about conspiracy theories about how the world would end and the crazy is that an outbreak of some type of disease is what I believed was going to kill us not zombies. But when you think about it, might as well be the same thing."

...

My eyes flutter open, with only one thought in mind. "They're here." I say. "Hey, your up. How do you feel?" Luka is here again? "Why are you always here when I wake up from a horrid dream?" I smile. He smiles back with a little chuckle. "Well, you are my patient. Mom couldn't be here so as her intern, i had to be." I look past him, at a boy I could have sworn I've seen before. "Who are you?"

"Oh, I'm Nino. The infected people got into the center and we're on a code red. Luka here saved my life." Code red. Shit. "So, it's real. I'm not crazy." I mumble. "Luka where is your mom? We have to get to her and get out of here." They both shake their heads. "You're not well enough to move and if this is real your going to get us killed." We all look at each other. "I'll be fine."

...

"I know a back exit that would take us straight to the parking lot. I know the emergency code, so we should be able to get through. Do not split up for anything." I order. "I think we should stay in here. They can't get in. It's safe." Nino says. "If you want to stay then stay. I'm leaving. I want to go home and see if my mom is alright. Then if it is really the end of this nation, I want to be as far away from the city as possible. I just hope I'm wrong." He sighs and starts packing.

I slowly climb off the bed. It seems I can't hold my self up. I lean on the bed for support. Trying my best to make it seem like I'm fine, but of course Luka notices. "Hey, are you alright?" He walks over to my side. "I'm fine." I say too quickly. He leaves, grabs the backpack he stuffed, coming back to me. He then lifts me up bridal style. "What are you doing? Put me down!" I yell frustrated. He does as I said, but I'm on the bed again. "We'll pack everything up. Isn't much anyway. I filled this bag with medical supplies, your journal, a few granola bars, two water bottles, and a small head pillow." He shoves the bag into my arms. "In your condition, all you can do is rest up. Plus, if this is the real thing, we don't need you passing out. Not even for a second. There's a drug in there that should keep you from passing out. Cause once you do, it's over for us."

"So, you're saying the chick with narcolepsy is our only way out of here and if this is the zombie apocalypse, if she's out cold the infected will devour us." Nino mumbles. "When we open that door she's going to be too weak to run. Luka can you hold both mine and your bags?" Luka nods. "You hold both bags and make sure we dont encounter any infected. I'll put Momo on my back, while she holds her bag." Momo?

"Did you just call me Mom?" I glare at him. "Yes I did and I think it suits you. Anyway, before we leave you should show me which drug it is and I'll have some in my pocket just to be safe. Momo if you think your about to pass out squeeze my ear. I hate that, so after this dont do it again." If we make it. I'm definitely doing it again.
