"I know him." Anne whispers, shaking my shoulders. She points to the little boy tied to the ground. "Alright guys, let's go before they get here." All the men gather their things and speed off, down the road. "We have to save them!" Anne yells. I want to, but there are sicks coming this way. They could see us. I'm not ready for another fight. "Please." She begs. Before I can give my answer, she's gone. Running out to the little family. "Shit Anne!"I yell out of frustration. I run out behind her, helping untie the family. Sicks start to appear left to right. "Just grab them and go!" She grabs the little girl and boy, while I help the older man up. He starts shouting things at me, but it's muffled due to the rope. Then it clicks. He wants he to grab his wife first. I do just that then turn back for the man, but I'm too late a sick slowly limps towards him. Dammit. I run with as much speed I can muster, grabbing the man and running back to the van. I push him onto the ground and start up the car, speeding down the road.

Once we are a safe distance away, I help Anne untie the family. "What the hell was that Anne?! You could've gotten us killed!"

She flinches away from me. Guilt feels my heart. "I'm sorry." I whisper. She only nods, helping the little boy loose. "Thank you so much." The older man with dark brown hair and blue eyes says out of breath. "No problem the world is going to shit, so might as well stick together I guess." I answer, trying to pull off a smile. He smiles back. "My name in Michael, but you can call me Mike. This is my wife Lucy, my daughter Susan, and my son Josh. It seems like that little girl and my son know each other." He introduces smiling at Josh and Anne's hugging figures.

"Yeah. I guess so. I'm Morgana and the hero of the day is Anne." Soon after introducing each other, I begin looking through the RV for anything useful. "Ten cans of fruit, six cans of ham, one can of spam. Two loads of bread, a twenty four pack of water, and one can of milk. Chips, fruit snacks, and granola bars." That's plenty of food. Wow, even some beef jerky. "Hey, Morgana right?" I turn around, facing Mike. "Uh, yes. What's up?" He shows me a 9mm, a shotgun, and a revolver. Boxes of ammunition placed on the counter. "Where did you find this?" I ask, grabbing the 9mm. I've always been fascinated by the small guns. Especially the 9mm. It's so beautiful. Pure silver with gold floral carvings. "You hold it with such grace. Have you shot a gun before?"

"My father was in the military. He was a very beloved at his fort. He use to bring me there all the time and I would be taught so many things. Only at the age of eight. He died though. I wanted to be just like him and join the military, but it just wasn't meant to be." I mumble. He nods, glancing at me with sympathy in his eyes. I clear my throat, wanting to change the subject. "We have plenty of food, but we'll have to ration it to make it last."

I tell the group. Everyone looks at me. Then Mike speaks up, "I think we should go to the safe places they've been announcing. We'll have food, protection, and information on what's going on." Everyone sits pondering on what to do. What surprises me, is Anne stepping up with a great point. "If they're announcing it everywhere to everyone, wouldn't that be the worst place to go. No one knows what's going on. People are getting bit left to right, but many don't know what it does to them, then boom someone changes in their sleep and attacks everyone." She has a very good point. Then Lucy speaks. "Maybe we could park outside of a safe place and watch what happens for a day and if nothing happens, we go in." I nod in agreement. So does Mike. The kids just shrug their shoulders.

Seems like we have a plan. I get ready to drive off, but is stopped by Mike. "I know a place closest to us, but it's in the city." I sigh. "City it is then." The city is about three hours from here. The center is on the outskirts of the city, which sadly is very far. My house is near the city, but if this is the end, then there is no point in going home. Mom either left already or killed herself. She wouldn't look for me nor wait.

I drive for two hours with no problems. No people, no sicks, no anything. Just smooth cruising. That is until I'm swallowed by darkness and all I can hear is the screams of my fellow passengers. Then my name was called. Anne?

Screams of pain and terror. Blood and guts. Bloodly figures. Dead figures.

"Morgana?" My eyes peel open to those of Luka's. "Luka?" I whisper in disbelief. He smiles, as if he's happy to see me. "I'm so glad you're alive." He pulls me into a hug, almost crushing me. As he chuckles, he gently pulls away, so I can look him straight in the eyes. He leans in slowly. Is he going to kiss me? My heart picks up pace. Beating insanely. Omg he's going to kiss me. I close my eyes. My cheeks begin to warm and butterflies fill my stomach.

I inch closer, excited to have my first kiss. Only centimeters apart. Then I open my eyes. Pain fills my heart. Soon replaced with a boiling rage, I can't wait to unleash. My hands tighten, beginning to bleed from my nails breaking the skin of my palm.

Once those words left my mouth, there was no going back. "You left me to die." His eyes glaze over. Signaling his pack with the after life. It'll be my turn next, I thought, while Luka hungrily munches on my shoulder.

"MORGANA!" I'm awakened just in time to dodge a tree, slamming on the breaks, saving me and the other's lives. "She's been bit!" Lucy yells at me enraged, with a gun pointed to my head. Soon, I would know what distrust truly meant.
