The sound of Aizawa's lazy voice droned on in the background, as you stared at the boy in front of you, broad-shouldered with a gutsy demeanor you just couldn't shake from your mind.
A week had passed since you first met.
--
Narrowed crimson eyes that held burning emotions, flaxen blond hair that melded together at small peaks on his head. Everything about him screamed wild. Damn, he was hot.
You'd almost forgotten the task at hand — to destroy the overbearing machines roaming in the distance as you continued watching the boy zip from robot to robot. You were so enamored by his ferocity and skill, that the enormous object looming over you went unnoticed until you were fully surrounded by its shadow.
You reacted and narrowly dodged a deathly blow, making a self deprecating joke as you escaped. You laughed to yourself in dark amusement at the close call.
You continued to sprint through the debris and wisps of smoke left by your competitors until you took notice of a boy who seemed to have the electricity quirk. He was surrounded by targets and looked to be focusing on a large attack.
"Well, isn't that convenient?" You muttered a low apology, a ghost of a smile on your lips as you glanced at your surroundings. Counting the robots in the area, you gathered up your courage.
"Hey!" You called to the boy in the near distance, advancing toward him. His head shifted in your direction, showing off a set of golden eyes. The slow stream of lighting budding at his palms halted mid-attack, as you distracted him.
Before he had time to react, you began focusing your energy on the path in front of you. Almost instantaneously, your eyes were set aglow, and everything around you began to move at an extremely slow pace. So slow, you reached the boy before he had even blinked.
A muffled explosion sounded in the distance, piquing your interest for a second as you recognized who might've caused it. You shook your head and continued toward the robots.
Focus (Name), you only have one shot at this. You thought to yourself as a disembodied voice began to count inside your head.
'7'...
You used one of the destroyed robots as leverage and bounded up towards one of the targets.
'6'...
That's one. You bounced off of the metal, feeling it morph under the force of your feet as you soared to the next one nearby.
