You dashed to the train station, flinging around a water bottle. This morning, you vaguely remembered turning your alarm off and going back to sleep, despite the plans you made for the day.
If you missed this bus, you would have to wait another half hour for the next one, and you couldn't afford to waste anymore time!
Due to the sports festival yesterday, classes were only running for the second half of the day, which meant you had to be at school in 5 hours. You cursed under your breath, gaining the attention of a few old ladies you swept by on the street.
Thankfully, after almost tripping down the stairs, you saw that a decent-sized line was still waiting, which meant the train hadn't come yet.
Shouto told you yesterday that he would be visiting his mother in the hospital, but since you hadn't agreed on a time, you decided to visit your parents instead. You made a mental note to ask for his number the next time you met.
Your family lived in the heart of Tokyo, the town next to Musutafu, where Yuuei was located. You currently lived in an apartment close to the school, which your parents had rented for your convenience.
The commute from your house in Tokyo would take upwards of an hour with the traffic and rush of those going to work. Needless to say, when your parents had offered you an apartment, you agreed almost immediately. Who wants to wake up two hours earlier than they need to?
The wind current from the incoming train distracted you from your thoughts, as the line urged forward onto the platform. You let out a sigh of relief when you secured a seat close to the door.
Thoughts about the sports festival began to fill your mind. What happened when you were fighting Shouto? There was no way you were able to fully stop time! You had never been able to do it before, so why would you be able to mid-battle?
You remembered your thoughts before the festival, did you really want to be a pro hero? Surely you'd have some internship offers at school later. After all, you had been one of the 14 finalists, which wasn't a bad ranking at all.
The train door slid open, causing your hair to blow over your face. Irritated, you removed the strands and looked at the person who had just entered.
To your surprise, Shouto stood holding a pole not too far from where you sat. Without realizing, you called out to him softly, "Shouto-kun!"
"Oh, (Name). So we ended up meeting after all." He said smiling ever so faintly as he made his way over to you.
He stood a comfortable distance in front of your seat, holding the railing above. You couldn't help but notice that his crotch was directly in your line of sight.
