《Chapter 29》

~ Jungkook's P.O.V ~

"What really happened?", Taehyung demanded sternly, as we stared at Ruyen and her friends like a pride of lions staring at their preys. "We asked what happened!", Hobi slammed the table startling the girls.

"Hobi, calm down. I'll ask them", Jin raised his hand in front of Hobi and signalled Namjoon to calm him down. "I'll be calm as long as you girls cooperate. For your information, I'm way worse than these guys. I'll ask once and that's final. Wh-", Jin hyung was cut off when Yoongi hyung barged in the cafe.

Taehyung, Namjoon and I rushed towards Yoongi, holding him back from attempting to throw his hands at the girls. "Yoongi, calm down. Can't you see I'm talking?", Jin hyung shot a serious look towards Yoongi.

"Hyung! These b*tches harmed my sister and you're telling me to calm down? I need to teach them their lessons!", Yoongi urged to slip off from our grip but we did not let him move an inch.

"Students, pay attention! Ruyen and her other 2 friends. At my office right now!", the principal spun around on her heels and walked away, furiously.

"Stop. I told you to pretend to be my girlfriend, not like a real one. Look at what you caused", I scoffed at Ruyen unbelievably. "I'm sorry", she dropped her head down and left the cafe with the other 2 girls.

"Yoongi hyung... you have some explanantions to do", Taehyung spoke up breaking the tension rising between us. Jin hyung ordered us to sit down and we did as he said so. "You can speak now, Yoongi"

"The nurse told Jimin and I that, Sooyun isn't having her meals on time nowadays and that she might face serious issues if it continues this way. Moreover, Ruyen threatened her in a way that caused a terrible red mark on her wrist. It might've hurt her a lot. I failed to be her brother, hyung. I failed to protect her", Yoongi broke into tears as Namjoon, Hobi and Jin headed towards the rooftop along with Yoongi to calm him down; leaving Taehyung and I alone.

"Jungkook... I heard what you whispered to Ruyen. Did you really do such thing to Sooyun?", he scrunched his eyebrows with disgusted tone dripping in his voice.

"Y-Yes I did hyung, but I didn't know Ruyen would take it this far. I... I did out of jealousy because everytime she speaks with another guy, it hurts. Hurts so freaking much to the point I can't even control myself at times. I certainly wouldn't have attempted such thing if Sooyun was to get hurt. I'm sorry, hyung. I messed up didn't I?"

"Jungkook~ah. Do you know what could possibly happen if our hyungs get to know what you actually did?"

"I-I know hyung. I will do whatever it takes to apologise to Sooyun but she would never forgive me for hurting her not only physically but emotionally as well. I was really harsh on her, Tae hyung"

"What's done is done, okay. You can't really do anything about it. Now let's go and check up on her before our lunch break ends"

We were sedately marching out the cafe when Jimin and a nurse exited the medical room just on time. The nurse passed him a paper with a list of what seems like a prescription of medicines before parting their ways.

Taehyung and I momentarily paced towards him with an aggrieved look. "Jimin, how is she? Everything's alright?" "Yeah Taehyung. She's doing just okay as I was there to bring her here right on time"

"Is she here? I need to go see her", I strived to walk past and into the medical room but Jimin detained me from walking any further. "What for? To blame her for whatever that b*tch Ruyen did?"

"Jimin, he wants to apologise. Please understand", Taehyung interfered; overpersuading him. "He should have thought twice before doing such thing with Ruyen"
