Elise's POV

I sighed with happiness as I heard a piercing noise known as the final bell ring out through the room. I was so happy to go home, get through the little homework I had, and then just relax and watch movies for the rest of the night.

I walked out, collecting my Psycology homework, and made my way to my locker. I was very privileged to have my locker next to an un-used supply closet. There was no smell, no teachers watching my every move, and there weren't many lockers around mine which meant less annoying, immature, and repulsive teenage boys. There were actually only six boys and eleven girls in my locker area. We were in a small corner of the school though.

I opened my locker up and grabbed my bag. Grabbing all of the books I needed, I closed my locker. I glanced around for Jocelyn, who said she'd meet me here. I had my back faced to my locker so when I looked to my left, I saw my locker neighbor. He was giving me a very dirty look. So, I decided to give him one back.

I crossed my arms, examining him. I started from the very top, with his hair.

It was a brown, almost blackish color. You could tell that he didn't put much effort into it because it looked a bit like bed head. But somehow it still looked really good. I followed downwards and looked at his eyes; not directly though. They were a blue. Not to dark, but not to light either. They were the perfect shade of blue. I then traveled my eyes to his lips. They looked perfectly smooth.

I then continued with my journey and followed my eyes down to look at his clothes. He was wearing a blue shirt with a jacket and an additional blue and black back-pack on top of the jacket. As my eyes traveled lower I saw that he was wearing jeans and when I got to his feet, I saw black sneakers. All in all, he was pretty attractive.

"Are you just going to keep on checking me out or say sorry for banging your locker into mine?" He sassed.

I immediately blushed and honestly had nothing to say except, "Sorry, I didn't mean to. It won't happen again."

I usually would have said something sassy back but I was to overwhelmed with embarrasment.

"Yeah whatever," he said walking away.

"My name's Elise. And your's?" I asked.

I dont know why, but I had the urge to get to know him. Maybe even be friends with him. He seems okay without all the sassiness. Then again, I shouldn't be speaking because I'm sassy as well.

"Demetrius. Demetrius Carter Park," he said while holding out a hand for me to shake.

I took it and then smiled.

"Well, I've never seen you around here before," I stated.

"Well, I've been here since sophomore year," he told, while still shaking my hand.

"Oh, well, that makes sense. This is my first time back. I lived here before but when I was thirteen I moved," I explained.

"Where to?"

"California."

"Oh wow. That's cool."

"Yeah, not really. What about you? Where'd you come from?"

"Florida," he smiled.

"Hey Elise!" I heard Joycelyn say.

I peered over my right shoulder and saw Jocelyn, all ready to leave school. I saw her looking at something and I followed her eyes and saw that Demetrius and I stopped shaking hands and were now holding hands.

I quickly snatch my hand away and said, "Well, it was nice meeting you. I'll see you around."

"Yeah. See you later," he said and then I left, looking for the doors to the outside world to get some air.

My blush was taking all the blood away from my body.

"Um, where are you going? You still have to go get your phone, remember?" Jocelyn reminded me.

"Shit. Yeah I do have to get my phone. I forgot. Just wait by my car and then I'll drive you home. I'll just be five minutes."

"Yeah, okay."

I turned around and walked to the place I hated the most.

The math room.

As I aproached the door I heard annoying laughing. Annoying laughing and a laugh that I once loved to hear so much.

When I turned the corner to get to his room, I saw that the door was open. I stepped right in front of it to see what all of the laughing was about.

That's when I saw Hannah Sherk and Luke giggling at each other like a bunch of fools. My heart broke and the realization came to me that he might be over me. I couldn't let him see me being hurt. So, I decided to be brave and take a step into the classroom.

I walked over to his desk. He then looked up at me, his little student to his right looking up at me too.

"Um. It's the end of the day, so can I have my phone now?" I asked with attitude.

"Well you'd think she'd show some respect, don't you think so Hannah?" He asked, turning his head to Hannah.

"Yeah. definitley," she agreed. Of course she was going to agree.

"Hm. Well, Ms. Davis, here is your phone,"  he said opening a drawer and taking it out. He was about to hand it to me but then pulled his hand back and said, "I better not see it in class again. You hear me?" I heard a bit a seriousness in what he told. Maybe he actually does take his job seriously.

"Yeah, I hear you," I said and then he gave it back to me.

"You're lucky that I didn't take this to the main office. But next time I will. But there won't be a next time now, will there?"

"No. Not at all. I already told you that. Now bye," I exclaimed, walking away.

"A thank you would be nice!!" I heard him scream when I walked out to door.

"Yeah, no!" I hollered back and then walked back to my car.

                                                                                       ***

I was now currently laying down on my bed, done with homework and done with crying over Luke.

Instead...I was my foolish self and went back onto google and looked up How do you know if a guy is over you? And for good?

I then got onto the Seventeen magazine website which had a whole article on my situation. After reading the article I felt better.

The article said that the boy could just be trying to make you jealous.

Jealously would make so much sense. Why else would Luke be helping Hannah Sherk? The girl I hate. Yeah, she's not smart but she never cared before about her grades. She always just sleeps her way through.

The website also said that if the whole jealousy thing is the case, which it is, then two can play at this game. As in I do the same thing. He's trying to hurt me, then I try and hurt him. Why not have a little fun with him? I mean he is the one who broke my heart after all.

A/N: hope you like it!! Go read my new story please!! It's gonna be up in an hour. Tell me if you'll read it :) Thanks, xoxo :)
