"Braeden!" I hear a yell. "Bee?" It's Anna.
"Bedroom." I tell her, I gave her a key because her and Jordan have fights all the time.
"Hey Tommo." She says quietly and lies down on my bed next to where I'm sitting.
"What's wrong?" I ask her and she looks at me.
"We broke up." She says barely audible and it takes me a moment to understand.
"Anna, it's okay this happens all the time, you'll work it out." she comes here on a weekly basis saying the same thing.
"He cheated on me. He has been for weeks." She says just as quietly as the last comment and I'm shocked for a moment. Then I'm angry.
"He fucking did not." I say through my teeth. She just nods, staring at the ceiling. "I'm going to kill him." I say and stand.
"Bee, please no, I need you to be here. Please don't leave." And that's when the tears come. From both of us.
"Im so sorry he did this to you Anna. I really am." I say trying to hold back tears. I need to be strong for her and myself.
We sit there for a while, me holding her while she sobs violently into her hands. Every memory of Calum hurting me flashes through my mind. Why couldn't I have left him earlier...?
Flashback
"Calum!" I scream. The tears haven't come yet but I can't feel them stinging my eyes.
"What! What do you want Braeden? I'm never good enough for you, why should I stay?" Calum yells back at me and I stand there gobsmacked. We were fine two minutes ago, what changed?
"W-what?" I ask, barely audible.
"You always tell Luke your problems, but not once have you told me! Why aren't I good enough for you?" He starts to pace around my tiny apartment.
"This is about Luke." I ask and he nods, confirming. "You asshole. You fucking son of a bitch!" He turns around at me, shocked. "You have no idea what I've been through and no idea how much he's helped me! So don't you," I take a deep breath before continuing. "Don't you fucking dare come in here and start making this about you."
"Braeden, if you just told me what you've been through I could help." Should I tell him about Louis?
"It's not that simple." I whisper.
"I love you Braeden." I stare at him, gobsmacked.
"What?"
"I. Love. You. And I will help you, wether you tell me or not but I just wish you'd come to me instead of Luke." He says staring at his hands.
"I love you too Calum." The tears start to stream down my face and he steps toward me before pulling me into a hug.
"I won't hurt you Braeden, I promise." He whispers into my hair.
