Braeden's POV

I swing the door open at the sounds of Calum selfish pleas.

"Calum!" I scream at the boy.

"Don't get me started on you!" He hisses.

"I dare you to start on me, Calum," I hiss back and he gives me an ice cold stare.

"You promised me forever, Braeden. You promised to stay with me and you didn't deliver," he hisses angrily but I can see the hurt in his eyes.

"You promised you'd never hurt me!" I scream, my chest tightening.

"At least I didn't leave," he whispers and shakes his head.

"How dare you."

"You didn't have to pack up and runaway to Boston!" He screams waving his hands in the air.

"What was I supposed to stay in Sydney and let you abuse me?"

"Don't!" He growls and I squint my eyes.

"Me don't? Fuck you, Calum! Fuck you!" I walk over to him and push his chest, causing him to stager backwards before he regains his balance. "Fuck you!" I scream and push him again.

"Stop it!" He screams and grabs my wrists as I go to push him again. "Baby, stop it," he whispers and I know I'm the only one who heard. I try to pull away from his grip but he won't budge.

"Let go," I whisper my voice cracking. "Let go!" I scream and he licks hi lips before obeying.

"I'm s-"

"Don't," I mutter and step back to stand beside Niall. It wasn't really intentional but Calum thinks it was by the look of hurt in his eyes.

"I can't fucking wait until he hurts you Braeden. I can't wait until you're shattered and you read the letter I wrote you. I hope then you realise you belong with me," he whispers, half smiling and I can't help but laugh.

"What letter, Calum? You never wrote me a fucking letter," I growl, is he that fucking stupid?

"Yes, I did. The one Luke mailed to you when you went to Boston..." He trails off and looks to Luke and so do I.

"What letter?" I whisper and he stares at his shoes. "Luke, what letter?" I ask louder and he looks up at me.

"I... Cal wrote you a letter just after you left for Boston because I wouldn't tell him where you were and he wanted to give it to you... I went to mail it, Braeden, I swear I did it's just..." He trails off and bites his lip.

"It's just what?" I growl, how could he do that to me?

"I read it, okay? I read it honestly it made me feel like I could forgive him, I couldn't let there be the slimmest chance that you would. I couldn't, Braeden. I'm sorry."

"Are you fucking serious? So all those times I was crying to you because she didn't reply, you knew she never even got it? Fuck you, Luke. I can't fucking believe you," Calum growls and before I know what's happening, Calum throws a punch and it connects to Luke's jaw with an unnatural thud. Luke falls to the floor and groans before Calum jumps on top of him and continues to throw sings at his face.

"Stop it!" I scream but it does nothing. Luke starts to try and get him off but he won't stop, resulting in Luke fighting back and punching any part of him he can. Calum's straddling his waist and holding him down. "Stop it!" I scream at Niall and gesture to the two of them. He seems to snap out of his trance and try to grab Calum but Cal won't have it and pushes Niall away and continues to punch Luke. "You'll kill him!" I scream when I see Luke has stopped fighting back. I don't know wether he really is hurt or he feels like he deserves this, either way Calum has gone too far. "Calum!" I scream and since the rest of these people are idiots, I run over to grab Calum's arm. His hand flies back and connects to my thigh, the force causing me to fall on to my side with a thud.

"Braeden!" Ash screams and rushes over to help me up.

"I'm fine," I mumble and push to a sitting position.

"Bee! I'm sorry!" Calum screams and jumps off Luke, staring at his hands like he couldn't believe he did that.

I move the short distance to Luke and stare at his face. Nothing looks broken and I can tell he's squeezing his eyes shut on purpose, which means he's still alive. There's already bruises forming on his eyes, jaw and left cheek.

"Are you fucking crazy?" I scream at him and I feel my eyes watering. "Look at him, how could you do this to your best friend?" I continue to scream at the dark haired boy who looks broken. "Luke?" I whisper, my voice cracking as I turn back to his body. His lip ring is tilted at an awkward angle and I reach up to fix it and my finger has only just grazed his skin when he flinches. "Luke," I repeat, my stomach churning at his timid state.

His eyes flutter open and his blue eyes almost seem lifeless. "I'm so sorry, BeeBee," he whispers and sniffles and cringes, the simple gesture obviously causing him pain.

"I know you are," I whisper and help him sit up. I look up to Calum who has a few bruises of his own starting to form on his cheek and jaw. He seems hurt and broken, a combination all too familiar to me.

"I should've just given you the damn thing, let you have closure. I was too scared you'd forgive him, too scared you'd never give me a chance... God I'm an idiot. I'm so sorry," he whispers, staring at the floor in front of his crossed legs.

"You've made some shitty choices, Luke. Some really shitty ones. Ones I can't forgive, especially this," he looks up at me hurt but I can see in his eyes he understands. Which makes it worse.

"I only ever wanted what was best for you, Bee. You mean so much to me and I-" I don't give him time to finish before I stand up and walk into the kitchen, leaning my hands on the counter.

"God you're a load of shit," I growl. "You care about your god damn feelings and if they're going to get hurt. You couldn't give a shit about mine or Calum's feeling and I'm sick of you," I spit at the boy, I can't believe the rage that has built up inside me and I just want to let it out.
