Violet was running through the halls, dodging things in her way. Josh had put on some different clothes instead of just his shirt. He was now wearing his black gloves, some underwear of course, white socks, black running shoes, light blue jeans, and a light grey t-shirt.
When Josh was done, he started chasing after Violet yelling.
Josh: I'm gonna catch you Violet!
Violet: You'll have to be faster than that Josh!
Josh then started going just a little bit faster, and Violet noticed this. So she turned a corner and started running up some stairs. Josh followed her up them, and they kept going until eventually, Violet went through a door. Josh followed her through, and noticed that there were no more hallways.
He stopped running and could see the clouds and saw that it was morning. But how could he be outside if they went up the stairs? Shouldn't you have to go down the stairs and out the front door to go outside? Then it hit him, they must be on the roof.
Josh: Violet, I don't want-
Violet: Come on Josh, try and catch me!
Josh saw that Violet was still running, so he started running after her again. But not to tag her, no. He started running to save her. He noticed she was wasn't paying attention to where she was running, and she was running out of room to run, quickly.
Josh started running as fast as he possibly could, desperately trying to stop his best friend.
Josh: Violet please stop running!
Violet: No way Josh, you're gonna tag me if I stop!
Josh: Violet please stop, I don't want you to get hurt!
When she heard the last sentence, she started slowing down until she was just walking backwards.
Violet: What's wrong Josh?
Josh just kept running, as fast as he could. He kept running until he was twenty feet away from her. Then...Violet made the last step. Her eyes widened as she didn't feel the roof with her last step. She screamed as she started falling off the edge...
Violet: Please save me-
Then, everything started slowing down. Josh could feel his heart beating incredibly fast. Everything was getting louder and slower as he kept running. He could hear the ticking from a clock in the orphanage.
Tick, tick, tick..tick...tick....tick.....tick......tick.......
He could see a butterfly slow down to a complete stop in midair. He could feel himself changing.
His symbol started shining pure bright white, his eyes turned completely white, his hair turned grey, the veins on his wrists turned grey, his porcelain skin and teeth stayed the same.
Josh stopping running when he realized that Violet, along with everything and everybody else, had completely stopped moving. He couldn't feel the breeze of wind. He couldn't hear the ticking of a clock anymore. He couldn't hear the sound of Violet screaming for help. Nothing, everything went still, and silent. Not even a whisper could be heard.
Josh started looking around. After a few minutes of looking around, he finally realized that he was in his superhuman form.
Josh: I'm in this form again. But...how?
He started pondering how this form worked. After another few minutes of standing and thinking. He noticed that things were starting to move again, but very slowly. Then it hit him, Violet was still falling over the edge. Without hesitation, he started running towards Violet as fast as he could.
