Josh was almost at the forest, about three hundred feet left until he reached it. He couldn't even see the orphanage anymore. As he was walking, he was talking to himself. More for entertainment then anything.

Josh: So, what should I do next with my powers? I made sure to eat a lot yesterday so that I would have enough energy to last me at least a month or two if I use my powers carefully. I can't do anything to extreme or that will get people's attention and it would take away my energy quickly. So, what should I do?

After a while of thinking, he thought of a few ideas. He was about thirty feet away from the forest now, he had been thinking for awhile. Unknown to him, somebody was quietly sneaking up behind him, making sure not to make a sound.

Josh: Hmm, I could try to summon a weapon like I did before, but wouldn't that take too much energy? No, I'll just do something I know how to do. That way I can try to control my powers better before I jump to something new.

The figure behind him was getting closer with every second that passed.

Josh: How about a fireball? No, because then I would have to use that demon form. I don't want to use that form, it's too dangerous. Hmm, how about my cloner form? Yeah, that should be easy to do...maybe.

The figure now pulled out a knife, ready to attack. They were ten feet away from the forest.

Josh: Hmm, maybe I should just try my superhuman form. It feels any to control, so maybe I will try it first. If I can control my powers then I can protect and save people.

Then Josh stopped walking, along with the figure. The figure raised it's hand with the knife, ready to strike. Josh felt a sudden sense of danger around him, but he didn't know why. He felt it behind him so he quickly turned around...only to see a huge and very muscular man behind him with a knife and mask that covered everything but his eyes and lips. When the man swung down, Josh felt his heart rate jump and adrenaline kick in faster than a heartbeat.

His eyes became pure white. His hair turned completely gray. His veins turned gray as well. His symbol on his right hand shined white but was concealed by the dark red glove. He had made sure to grab a thicker glove so that it would actually hide the symbol. His porcelain skin stayed the same, along with his very white teeth.

This all happened with a second, and everything became slow. The man practically stopped mid-swing for Josh. When Josh came back to his senses, he realized the knife was an inch from his forehead. So he took a step back and talked to himself again.

Josh: Hmm, this could actually be a good chance for me to test my power, but how did I use this power? Is it because my adrenaline kicked in or did I do it on accident? Could it be a self-defense thing? Oh well, that doesn't matter right now. I just have to test this power. Maybe I could use whatever I used before, an energy ball I think it's called?

He then raised his right hand and focused on his energy. Then he summoned a white energy ball in his right hand, much to his surprise.

Josh: Wow, easier than I thought. I wonder if it's supposed to be this easy? Well, that doesn't really matter. Hmm, I wonder if I can make time speed up just a little bit.

When he focused again on his power, he slowed his heart rate down a little, causing the man to move a little bit faster. When the man kissed his swing, he looked shocked. To him, Josh was just standing at him and suddenly he was gone, almost as if he teleported.

Man: What the hell?!

Then he looked at Josh, and he was even more shocked that he looked completely different than how he did just two seconds ago. So he swung the knife at Josh again, only to have Josh dodge so quickly he was practically a blur. He swung again, and again, and again, and again, only to miss every single time. He was now infuriated by this.
