Chapter 12: A Dark Side.

~A day later, it is now April 29th, 2:10PM~

Violet: And that's how you play padycake.

Josh: Really? I thought it would be harder than that.

Violet: Well it gets easier as you keep going.

Josh: Oh okay, I know now. Can we play a different game?

Violet: Sure Josh, what do you want to play?

Before he could answer, they both heard a knock on the door.

Ms. Jerel: Josh, Violet, can I come in? It's me, Ms. Jerel.

Josh:...

Violet: Come in!

She opened the door and walked in.

Ms. Jerel: Well Josh, I have good news. Your punishment is up, you are no longer grounded.

Josh:...

Ms. Jerel: But I do have to warn you about breaking another rule here in Stone Haven. You will be punished again, your punishment however, depends on the rule you break.

Violet looked at Josh, for he was being unusually silent. That's when she noticed he had a look of anger on him, as if Ms. Jerel just being in the same room as him was infuriating.

Josh:...

Ms. Jerel: Do you understand, Josh?

Josh:...

Ms. Jerel: Josh, I said, do you understand?

Josh:...Yes.

Ms. Jerel: Yes, what?

Josh: Yes, ma'am.

Violet was beginning to worry about Josh. He was now clenching his right hand into a fist, which he had hid behind his back.

Ms. Jerel: Good, you need to start learning your manners Josh, do you understand?

Josh: Yes ma'am.

Ms. Jerel: Good, now I have to go do some paperwork. Remember Josh, stay out of trouble and be good.

Josh: Yes ma'am.

She then left, and as soon as she left the room. Violet immediately started doing her best to calm him down.

Violet: Hey Josh, are you okay?

Josh: I don't know.

Violet: Why are you angry?

Josh: I don't know, it's just that...whenever I see Ms. Jerel, I just become so angry, and I don't know why.

Violet: Um, I think that's called a grudge.

Josh: Then I guess I have a grudge on Ms. Jerel.

Violet: It's a grudge, against, Ms. Jerel, not on.

Josh: I just get so angry whenever she talks that way to me!

Violet: Josh, please calm down.

Josh: I just...I hate that she talks to me like I'm stupid!

His symbol began to glow through his glove, which Violet had noticed, and became even more worried.

Violet: Josh, please calm down. I don't want you to get-

Josh: She talks to me like I'm an idiot, and I HATE it!

Josh: She's like, manners Josh! Don't get into trouble Josh! And I have to be, yes ma'am this, and yes ma'am that! It sucks to say yes ma'am over and over again!
