-LLO HELLO, HELLO HELLO, TELL ME WHAT YOU-

"Ugh," Jungha groaned, as she lazily clicked on the snooze button.

She sat up in her bed, rubbing her eyes and looking around. All of her books were strewn across the floor, and the desk bin was overflowing with crumpled up pieces of paper.

She studied extremely hard for the upcoming exams, barely fitting in 4 hours of sleep.

Today was a Monday. Another day of school. Another day of hell.

School was pretty easy for Jungha. Actually, it can be better phrased. Work and academics was pretty easy for her, but the rest of school was a total nightmare.

The problem with school was the fact that Joohyun was in it.

She was bent on the fact that she had to make Jungha's life a literal living hell, and she was almost succeeding in doing so. Apparantly, because Jungha was only half Korean and struggled with the language, that meant that she was dumb, and "not good enough".

Jungha was born in America, but had moved to South Korea to live with her grandma after her parents had died when their vacation ferry had hit a rock in a storm, and ultimately sunk.

Then, she was getting bullied because of how badly she spoke Korean, but it had now escalated to looks, and even her voice.

But ignoring Joohyun didn't seem so hard, right? Not when she decides to give you a punch in the gut everyday for no apparant reason.

Each day had the same basic outline. Jungha would wake up, get to school, learn stuff, get bullied in some form, go home, cook food, study, and sleep.

It was exhausting.

She got up from her bed and stretched her body, hearing 376,000 unsettling back cracks in the process. As she walked over to her dresser, she looked in the mirror. What she saw was certainly not what she wanted to see. Eye bags, small eyes, chubby cheeks. As she thought this, she realized something.

"Joohyun told me all of these things. Maybe I really am ugly."

Jungha tried to ignore her thoughts and get changed. School uniform sucked, but in a way, it was also great. That was one thing Joohyun couldn't make fun of, because she was wearing the exact same thing.

She gathered her books in a pile on top of her desk, and packed them in her black school bag, before brushing her hair and teeth.

Before she left for school, she decided to wash her face and put some concealer on under her eyes, and on her cheeks, in an attempt to hide her blemishes and avoid embarrassment.

Jungha grabbed her backpack and stumbled downstairs, unlocking and opening the door with her free hand. It was slightly overcast, and the weather was said to be quite rainy and cold.

She grabbed her gran's special umbrella next to the door. The one they always used to use for walks on the beach and picnics in the park. That was before she had passed, though. Everything was different now. There was nobody to call Jungha beautiful anymore. Nobody to cheer her up when she felt alone. Nobody to deny all of the sickening things that were said to her.

She took her keys off of the door hook and walked outside, breathing in the fresh morning air.

The walk to school was only about ten minutes long if she could avoid Joohyun. She lived just outside the city, around five minutes away.

She plugged her earphones in and started listening to vixx's "Beautiful Liar", because somehow, it made her feel calmer and more at ease with her situation.

Before long, she reached her school gates.

"Just survive the day, Jungha. You can do it!" She thought to herself.

This was going to be a long day...
