Chapter 15

"Right now,"

Jungha halted, tilting her head.

"N-now?" she queried.

They peeked around the corner, and sure enough, Chan had walked out with Seungmin. They stood together, their faces dead straight as they talked.

SEUNGMIN'S POV

"Hyung, I need to talk to you.. "

Chan nodded his head, accepting his request with a, "shoot,"

Seungmin took a deep breath before explaining the unexpected 'talk' even further.

"Before you say anything, let me talk it all out first," he started. "Jungha has been getting bullied by-"

"Seungmin," Chan cut him off.

"Let me speak."

"She's been getting bullied by your girlfriend for several years now, and Jungha beating her up was all of the pent up emotions from those years. Joohyun really isn't who you think she is, Chan,"

Chan stared in disbelief before emitting a laugh. A laugh?

"Seungmin, you know me better than to think I'd believe even a word she tells you,"

The other boy exhaled harshly in frustration. Why did it have to go like this? He had to take the hard way out now.

"Hyung, I can show you. Let me prove it to you,"

It was the next day. After the scene, Jungha had cancelled all of her upcoming lessons, and Mina, although hesitant, decided to give her a refund.

Jungha hadn't caught up on all of her work yet, but she was definately planning on it. She just had to get this done. And fast. Stray Kids' debut was only a few days away, and the stress could get to the members.

The chilly winter air was nipping at the students' noses, allowing each one to adopt a red tint.

The clothing shop had just recently sold out in gloves and scarves, so the students that were constantly late were always freezing.

The team of 3 (Jungha, Jisung and Seungmin - although the rest of skz knew, they didn't get involved, and they wouldn't, unless the original trio failed to succeed on their own) came up with a game plan in their spare time over a group call.

Step 1) Get Jungha and Joohyun both in detention.

Step 2) Get Chan in the room without them noticing.

Step 3) Get Joohyun to admit or physically demonstrate what she'd always do.

The plan was in action as soon as they walked into school.

Jisung had graduated, but Seungmin was still in school, so he could help with the plan.

As Joohyun limped past him, he popped a marker into her skirt pocket, smirking to himself as he did it.

Jungha was busy using her other marker to write on the bathroom stalls, before she placed that same marker into her pocket too.

After the bell for 3rd period went, Seungmin told his friend Nari that he had to frame Joohyun and Jungha to prove something big, emphasizing life changing.
