JUNGHA'S POV

Jungha thought about the boy the whole night.

Nobody had ever done something like that for her before. People were more likely to laugh at her running in the rain.

But he was different. He had given her something of his, so she would not be walking home cold and wet, and instead walked home cold and wet himself.

That day at school, Jungha was in a better mood. She was still thinking about the boy. Whenever she closed her eyes, she would see his beautiful smiling face.

"Miss Byun?"

"Byun Jungha?"

"Jungha!!"

Jungha's eyes fluttered open to her teacher standing in front of her, staring down with a piercing look in her eyes.

"Were you enjoying your sleep, Jungha? " she asked, obviously being a rhetorical question.

"Guess what, Miss Byun: You'll have even more time to sleep in your two hour detention after school today.

Jungha mentally facepalmed herself.

"I'm sick and tired of kids sleeping through my classes," Miss Choi mumbled to herself as she walked back to the chalkboard.

The bell had just rung, but Jungha just sat in her seat, staring at everyone leave.

There were only 4 other people in her detention class that day.

Wang Jackson, Kim Jennie, Cha Eun Woo and Nakamoto Yuta.

Joohyun had narrowly avoided detention that day. She had slapped Jungha before shoving her into the wall, and one of the teachers had walked around the corner while it was happening.

"Joohyun! What do you think you are doing?" Shouted Mr. Im, glaring at the girl.

"Wouldn't you be upset if someone called you fat while laughing?

Jungha furrowed her eyebrows. She was really confused.

"Jungha? Is this true?"

"No, Mr Im! I was just-"

"What a liar!" Joohyun interrupted, rolling her eyes.

By now, Mr Im had completely forgotten what was happening when he turned the corner.

"Well, Joohyun, Jungha seems pretty-"

Mr Im faltered when he saw Joohyun biting her lip seductively. She smirked at his actions.

"Um, you know what, girls? Just don't do it again, or, uh, I'll give you a detention."

A paper aeroplane flew past Jungha's desk, and onto the floor, snapping her out of her thoughts. She looked to her left, and saw Jennie sitting two seats away from her.

Jennie smiled and pointed to the paper aeroplane on the floor. Jungha bent down to pick the note up off of the floor and opened it up.

"Hey! It's Kim Jennie!

Wanna be friends?"

Jungha lifted her eyebrows in surprise. She wasn't expecting that.

She quickly grabbed her pen out of her pencilcase and scrawled something down. She looked up to check that Ms. Choi wasn't looking, and flew it back to Jennie.

Jennie opened up the paper, and a bright smile quickly spread over her face. She sent a thumbs up in Jungha's direction, and leaned her head down to go back to sleep.

You're dismissed. Don't do anything stupid tomorrow, or I'll see your ugly faces again after school.

Jennie and the other students sprinted towards the exit, whereas Jungha lazily crawled out of her desk, too exhausted to run.

When she got to the doorway, Jennie slung her arm around her neck and smiled cheerfully.

"Hello new best friend!

Jungha was a little taken aback, but decided to just go with it.

She put on her best smile and started walking with Jennie towards the exit.

Jennie insisted on walking Jungha home, as she didn't live too far from her.

"Oh, look! There's one of JYP's cute trainees!" Jennie said to Jungha, as she stopped to point up towards a big billboard on a street corner.

Jungha gasped.

"That's the boy I saw at the convenience store!"
Jungha thought, surprised at the news that he was a trainee.

"Oh, he's cute," Jungha said, smiling at Jennie. "What's his name?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she realized she didn't ask him.

"He's Bang Chan. Half of the girls in our school have tried to date him," Jennie said, rolling her eyes.

"And?"

"They didn't. Chan tried to reject them kindly every single time," she said, laughing. "I was there when Suzy tried to ask him out. It was literally the funniest thing I've ever seen."

Jungha smiled. It was fun having a friend.

After Jennie had gone home, Jungha decided to finish her homework quickly so that she could go to bed early.

She took a long shower, and just thought about life. Showers were nice. They sort of washed worries away.

The warm water never failed to calm Jungha down.

She ate some cereal, and got into bed.

To be honest, Jungha wasn't the healthiest person. She didn't have to time to make nutritious meals, and she had nobody to cook for her, so she mainly ate instant noodles, or cereal.

She turned on the tv, and turned off the lights, and let the soft voices of the actors lull her to sleep.
