Jungha got up off of the ground. Her cheeks were stained with tears, and her throat ached.

She took one last glance at the river below her, but her umbrella couldn't be seen.

The sky had gotten noticeably darker, and the ominous clouds were still in view. It seemed as though the weather wanted to reflect the way she was feeling.

Soon, she reached the convenience store. The lights were dimmed, and there weren't many customers.

She walked into the store, and went over to the ramyeon aisle.

She took a bit of time to choose the flavour that she wanted, and walked over to the cashier.

"One thousand won, please," the cashier asked, smiling kindly at the girl.

Jungha took her purse out of her backpack and paid the lady. She then went to a table, and started eating her ramyeon.

She decided to eat at the store, because she figured it would be lonelier at home.

After she had taken a few bites, she glanced up at the person sitting at the table just in front of her.

He was breathtaking.

Each of his features were so distinct, and every single part of him seemed to be perfect.

He smiled at Jungha, his dimples prominent.

She smiled back, but it came off as forced. She couldn't remember the last time she smiled genuinely anyways.

It wasn't long before Jungha had finished her ramyeon. She looked outside, and noticed that it was raining again. The relaxing drumming of the raindrops against the glass made her feel calmer, like she wasn't the most stressed person in the world.

Jungha got up out of her seat, and threw her ramyeon cup in the bin.

She slowly walked over to the door, getting ready to sprint home in the rain.

"Where's your umbrella?" The boy asked, in a heavy Australian accent.

Jungha turned around to meet his eyes. He was still sitting down, but had gotten his umbrella out and placed it on the table.

"I, um... I left it at home," she lied.

"Take mine," the boy offered, smiling at her, holding the black umbrella out.

Jungha was in shock.

"But...it's raining." She said, pointing towards the cold, misted windows.

"Which is why you should take it," the stranger said, waving it up and down. "I'll be fine without it."

She slowly walked over to him.

He got up, and placed it in her pale hands.

"Thank you," she mumbled, bowing to him.

"Don't mention it."

CHAN'S POV

As soon as she left the shop, Chan let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

He smiled as he remembered the look of gratitude on her face when presented with the umbrella.

She was breathtaking.

Each of her features were so distinct, and every single part of her seemed to be perfect.

"You can't think like this, Chan," he thought to himself.

Chan thanked the lady behind the counter for the ramyeon and stepped outside. It was still raining quite hard, but he didn't mind.

The girl looked a bit sick. She was quite pale, and her eyes were red. He didnt want her to get any sicker than she already was.

The sound of rain was the only thing that Chan could hear, as he walked home. Each passing second, he got wetter in the rain.

The water had soaked through his clothes quickly, leaving no room for warmth. He shivered as goosebumps spread over his skin.

When Chan got home, he had a quick shower and turned on the heater. He was still shivering. Chan sat down at his desk and started working on a new track to debut with.

Chan had been a trainee at JYP Entertainment for 7 years, and had been told that he could debut in the current year.

This, of course made Chan work even harder to reach his goal. He didn't want to waste his chance of becoming something big, and possibly being a role model to others.
