Jungha had just been dropped off at her house. She couldn't feel her toes and she had goosebumps all over her body.

She smiled to herself at the thought that someone was helping her, but proceeded to frown, remembering Chan's spiteful words to her that day.

Not once had he told her to shut up. Sure, its used jokingly between people, but he had said it so maliciously that she could almost see the fire burning in his eyes.

"What happened to him?" was the last thought that crossed her mind as she rocked herself to sleep, her brain numb with the cold.

"ugh," - the first thing Jungha had said when she had woken up the next morning.

Her uniform hadn't been washed since Friday but she couldn't care less.

Lazily clambering out of her bed, Jungha wiped her eyes and yawned.

She probably had a million projects to complete, but it wasn't her first priority. She needed to just get through the day and take things slowly from there.

Today, she was focusing on surviving the final wrath of Joohyun.

Walking into the school, Jungha felt all eyes on her. But it felt somehow different. There was a different mood. Instead of sympathetic stares from the students, she received looks of disgust. Pure loathing.

She staggered through the halls, the stares forcing her head down.

Jungha, having only a view of her tattered sneakers didn't notice Joohyun step in front of her, causing the girl to bump into the other.

Jungha bowed, apologizing softly.

She glanced up to meet the bruised face of her opponent. She looked horrible.

Blue and purple painted her fair skin. One eye bigger than the other. Split lips.

She couldn't believe she'd done it. Hoping to find some satisfaction in her actions, she changed her mindset.

"She's done it so many times to me. I just showed her what she was showing me,"

She tried so hard to feel good about what she had done, but nothing about it was good.

Joohyun had a look on her face that Jungha had never seen before. Was it... fear?

No. It couldn't be.

She couldn't be scared of her. The petite girl who had been made fun of all her life was now feared?

Jungha shook the thoughts out of her head and wiped the tears from her eyes as she moved around the beaten girl.
She'd finally made her mark.

The bell rang for the last period but all Jungha could hear was her own thoughts.

The teacher enquired about how the girl's injured arm was doing.

"fine."
