Jungha and Chan had talked a lot the past day. A lot. They were now on very friendly terms with eachother. Chan gave her the nickname of "Jung-ssi".

They hadn't seen eachother in person again, yet, but they did stay up til' 2am talking to eachother about Chan's dad's Indian tea collection.

"Where the hell did I put my glasses this time?" Jungha mumbled to herself, while stumbling across the room, tripping over all of her dirty laundry. She needed to get herself some contact lenses soon.

It was Monday, and she was already late to class. She finally found her precious glasses and ran down the stairs, shortly followed by her tossing all of the keys around until finding the house key, unlocking the door and sprinting out, almost forgetting her backpack in the process.

"This is the fourth time you've been late this month, Miss Byun." Miss Choi lectured, throwing a stern wrinkled expression at Jungha.

"I'm so sorry, ma'am, I had a pretty hectic weekend, and I didn't get much sleep. I woke up late today, so I'm a bit tardy. Sorry." Jungha said, an apologetic look cast over her soft features.

"A bit tardy," Miss Choi rolled her eyes as she walked over to her big desk.

Jungha sat down in her seat next to a boy she had never talked to before. She didn't even think she'd ever seen him before. Maybe he was new?

"Okay, class," Miss Choi began, turning to face the students. "I gave you an assignment on Thursday last week, which was the project on medical history. I assume you've all brought it here. There are no excuses, as you didn't have a partner to get together with."

Jungha's heart immediately sank.

The freaking assignment.

This project was a fifth of their history grade, and Jungha had just failed to hand the paper in in the allotted time.

"Oh flip. Oh flip." Jungha thought, trying to come up with a reason for why it wasn't done.

Miss Choi started going around the class, collecting all of the papers. She was one seat away from collecting Jungha's project.

"Jungha, may I have your project please?" She queried.

Jungha cleared her throat in nervousness. She had to wipe her clammy hands on her jeans.

"You see, Miss Choi..." Jungha took a deep breath before uttering the next few words. She hated not having an excuse to lean back on, but she had no choice other than to speak the truth. "I forgot that it was due today."

Miss Choi had a look of utter disbelief on her face. How could she not, though? Jungha was a top student.

The whole class had gone silent, and was now staring at the scene before them.

Jungha heard Joohyun's ugly snickering to the left of her. She felt tears sting her eyes. She was immensely embarrassed, and she didn't want to think of the talk that Miss Choi was bound to give her.

Miss Choi heard the giggling and and felt a bit sorry for Jungha, so she leant down to whisper in her ear, "Meet me in my class after school."

It was the end of the day, and the bell had just rung. Jungha walked out of the room to her locker to get her stuff, just before being shoved to the floor.

"Guess who, cow?"

"Could Joohyun not address me as a farm animal, every time she talks to me?" Jungha thought, exhaling in annoyance.

Jungha tried to get up but was kicked back to the floor by Joohyun's small foot. She hit her chin on the ground, tasting the blood in her mouth.

"Have fun with your history project, idiot." Joohyun strutted away, her heels clacking against the tiled floor.

CHAN'S POV

"Shoot, where is my hoodie?" Chan questioned himself in his mind.

Chan was currently in the practice room. The rest of the boys had just left the room and he was busy packing up his belongings.

Felix opened the door, holding Chan's red garment in his right hand.

"I found your hoodie by the door," said Felix.

"Ah, okay thanks, just leave it right there on the floor, I'm going soon." Chan said, pointing to a spot on the wooden floor.

"Okay, don't stay up too late, Chan. Try to get some sleep."

"Yeah, yeah," Chan said, knowing that it wouldn't happen.

Felix left the room, dropping the piece of clothing next to the door.

Chan picked up his laptop in its case as well as his hoodie and water bottle, and left the room.

Chan's phone vibrated in his pocket. He was sitting at home, touching up a few of their upcoming release tracks.

Jungssi: Chan!

Jungssi: I got in huge trouble today with my teacher.

Chan smiled at his phone and started typing.

Chan: why? What happened?

Jungssi: I forgot about the history assignment we got over the weekend, and I was pretty much the only one that hadn't done it :(

Jungssi: And this stupid girl in my class made fun of me :(

Chan frowned. He hated people that looked down on others.

Chan: what did she do?

Jungssi: she laughed at me

Jungssi: and then she tripped me

Chan: the next time she does something like that, tell someone, okay? It's not okay for people to think they're worth more than someone. Don't let her get you down, Jungssi! Hwaiting!

Chan smiled at his own quirkiness.

"Do friends normally feel this way towards each other?" Chan thought.

He tried to tell himself that he loved his girlfriend on numerous occasions. He always ended up failing. This time, though, Chan could feel himself starting to like Jungha, through a few random encounters and some text messages.

Chan now felt completely torn between what he felt in his heart, and what he felt was right. It wouldn't be civil to choose a girl you met in a convenience store a few weeks ago over your girlfriend of 3 months, would it?

But wondering about this was already thinking way too fast.

Oh no.
