"You have
boyfriend problems too?"

"I'm so sorry for everything. I really mean it," Sam says before looking down at her hands to avoid my gaze. It's something she always does, which leads me to think that she's intimidated by me.

I step a little closer to her, "You're sorry? That's all you're going to say?"

"I-I don't know what else to say to you," she stutters.

I chuckle, "Are you serious?"

She looks up at me with tear-filled eyes, "I was drunk, Justin! I wasn't in my right state of mind. I didn't mean to do those things."

"Well now we're getting somewhere," I mutter. I know I'm probably being an asshole, but she has to know that I'm not going to let what she did slide under the mat.

"Justin, you know you're the only one I want," she tries to stress to me. "I swear to you that I would never do something like that on purpose. I regret it so much you have to believe that," she reaches for my hands but I shake my head.

I rub the palm of my hand over my face and laugh, "I just can't fucking believe you kissed someone," I say furiously causing her to jump. "I literally left you for about five minutes and came back to that bullshit. Drunk or not, I really don't believe that you didn't know what you were doing. That fucking hurt, Sam."

"I'm so stupid, it should've never happened but-"

"Yeah, you are stupid and it did fucking happen. Now we're in this position," I threw my hand in the air, making her eyes grow wide.

"It's not like I'm the only one who made a mistake in this relationship," she mutters, suddenly finding her nails interesting.

"Care to elaborate, babe?"

"You and those hoes, smoking, all that shit," she runs her fingers through her hair and shakes her head.

"I didn't do anything wrong, though. What's your point?"

"How do you think it feels to walk in on you and a girl in the bathroom holding each other?"

I laugh, "She tripped and I caught her. That.is.it. I may have been high, but I didn't dirty dance with anyone or fucking kiss them for fun."

She sighs, "You're right. It still hurt my feelings, though."

I gently grab a hold of her chin, "You hurt my feelings." She blinks her eyes at me. "You probably would've done a lot more with that douche if I didn't come back because our friends sure as hell weren't going to stop you" I let go of her chin and cross my arms. She shakes her head again, making her teardrops fall to the floor. "I'm so pissed at you, Sam."

"I-I know," she cracks, bringing her hands to her face and letting out a sob.

My arms instantly go around her and she sobs even more. Even though i'm insanely mad at her, I still hate when she cries.

"I'm s-sorry, I'm so sorry," she lets out as she clutches the back of my shirt.

I gently rub her back with both of my hands, "I know you are and even though I'm mad, I still love and care about you."

"I lo-ove you too."

I hold her in silence until she calms down as her breathing comes to a steady rate. "I just think that we need to uh spend a little time away from each other," I lean back to look down at her.

She glances up at me, blinking tears out of her eyes. "Like a break?" she sniffles.

I drop my arms from around her. "Yeah," I nod. "I know it's going to be hard since we see each other almost everyday at the studio, but I just need some time."
