Chapter 19: Set It Up

September 2nd (Friday)

Mackenzie's POV: I rush downstairs to the kitchen and see Maddie, eating some breakfast.

Mackenzie: Hey Maddie

Maddie: Hey Mackenzie

Mackenzie: Where is mom?

Maddie: Exercising she is running around central park

Mackenzie: Oh Okay

Maddie: Don't you need to go to work?

Mackenzie: I'll have some breakfast first

Mackenzie's POV: I get some fruit loops from the cupboard and get a carton of milk from the fridge, I pour myself a bowl of cereal and start eating.

Mackenzie: Maddie you never told me about what you were going to do with your dance companies.

Maddie: I'm going to shut some of the least paying ones in Australia and get build more here in America. And since I need more jobs than just having dance companies, I'm hoping to get into acting again

Mackenzie: That's great

Maddie: How about you and Johnny, how are you going to release your relationship to the world?

Mackenzie: Maybe we can just do an Instagram post.

Maddie: That is the best idea

*Mackenzie's phone starts ringing and she looks at it*

Maddie: Johnny?

Mackenzie: No, it's Brynn

*Mackenzie picks up*

Phone Call

Mackenzie: Hey Brynn

Brynn: Hey Mackenzie, sorry I couldn't contact you sooner

Mackenzie: It's fine

Brynn: So the reason I am calling is that you mentioned Carson? Is that his name?

Mackenzie: Yeah Carson.

Brynn: I am actually free tonight if he somehow wants to meet up.

Mackenzie: That's amazing. I'll text him and see if he is available and i'll text you back if he is.

Brynn: Thanks Mackenzie

Mackenzie: No problem.

End Of Phone Call

*Mackenzie hangs up*

Maddie: Was she calling about Carson?

Mackenzie: Yep, it looks like I have to set up a date

Maddie: Well before you do that you better go to work.

Mackenzie: Okay bye see ya!

Mackenzie's POV: I go down the lift and once I reach outside I wave a cab and hop inside. I tell the driver to go to Warner Music Headquarters. While there is nothing else to do I decide to text Carson.

Mackenzie: Hey I got some news from my friend Brynn, are you available tonight?

Carson: Yeah I'm down for tonight

Mackenzie: That's great i'll text you the details once I get them, as in the time place and stuff

Carson: Okay, thanks kenz! ☺
