Johnny's POV: Mackenzie was released from the hospital yesterday, and today is Maddie's birthday! So we are planning to surprise her. This relates back to the secret that Mackenzie told me.

Flashback

Mackenzie: So the flashback is that mom and I invited Cameron Maddie's best friend from Australia. you probably met him at the wedding. He just called me that he is at the airport on his way to New York, and he is going to surprise Maddie.

Johnny: That's a great idea

Johnny's POV: So we are still waiting for Maddie to come downstairs since it is morning. We start to hear footsteps coming down and then I grab my guitar and hide, Mackenzie is hiding too.

Maddie: Hi mom

Melissa: Hey Maddie, You are 23! Happy Birthday!

Maddie: Thanks mom

*Mackenzie and Johnny come out from hiding and start singing*

Maddie: Thanks guys

Mackenzie: Happy Birthday Maddie

Johnny: Yeah happy birthday

Maddie: Thanks guys, do you know what? I wish...

Melissa: Cameron was here? We know honey

Maddie: it's just that he is my best friend!

Mackenzie: it's okay Maddie, he might greet you a happy birthday on insta

Maddie: I think that is good enough

Mackenzie: Well Johnny and I have some deliveries to do, we have to get the cake and the balloons so see ya

Johnny's POV: Mackenzie and I go down the lift and we exit the lobby and wave the cab, we hop inside.

Mackenzie: I am super excited for tonight

Johnny: Me too, well for the food

Mackenzie: Of course it's for the food Johnny. I'm excited for Cameron to come, he should be landing in New York in an hour

Johnny: So, What cake are we getting?

Mackenzie: Johnny!

Johnny: Sorry, we are heading to the cake store anyway.

Mackenzie: It's cookies and cream

Johnny: That sounds yummy

Mackenzie: Yeah don't eat it all

2 hours later

Mackenzie's POV: We already got the cake. We already got the decorations too. We are just setting up for the party. We all have this type of teamwork, which makes the decorating faster. The party is going to be at dinner time. But we still have decorating to do, but it's not a fancy party. Just a casual one. There are a few people coming. Lilia, Millie, SIA and everyone Maddie has worked with and is friends with. I walk into the kitchen and see Johnny staring at the cake. Just standing there looking at it.
