Soothing

Mina's POV

I open my eyes slowly as I wake up to the feeling of someone stroking my hair. I started to freak out a little because I believed I was still in his bedroom.

I try to sit up but the person kept me laid on the bed. I whimpered and tried to get out of the person's grip.

"Hey calm down, babygirl." Jihyo whispers in my ear and I immediately calm down. I relax into her touch as I feel her lips on the back of my neck.

I feel her hand on my stomach, slowly caressing it. I blink and let out a shaky breath, slowly turning around to face Jihyo.

Jihyo has a small smile on her face before frowning when she sees the bruise on my cheek. "I didn't see this before." She whispered as she gently stroked my cheek.

I fluttered my eyes shut and leaned into her touch as she continued to caress my bruised cheek gently. "What happened at the house?" She asked, worry lacing her voice.

"Nothing happened. I just got my stuff and left." I lie to her as I fake a smile. I feel her warm hand touch my cold stomach and I wince slightly.

"Then what are all these bruises, hm?" She asks in my ear, whispering while stroking my stomach gently, humming softly in my ear.

"I-I- They weren't happy I sta-stayed over here." I whisper as I hear her stop humming. "They won't hurt you here, babygirl. I'll make sure you're safe no matter what and at all times." She whispers in my ear.

She was still stroking my stomach as I relaxed into her touch, burying my face in the crook of her neck. I whimpered slightly while gripping her shirt tightly.

I start to cry silently, making her neck wet. "Let it out." She whispers softly and I start to sob against her neck loudly.

After a few minutes, I was finally able to calm down. "Are you feeling better?" Jihyo asks, her lips brushing my ear. I shiver slightly before nodding, sniffling a little.

I pull away from her neck and pout slightly. "Sorry for wetting your neck." I whisper before looking down, my voice a little hoarse as I rub the back of my neck.

"Hey..." Jihyo starts before putting her hand under my chin and making me look up at her. "I don't mind. You did nothing wrong." She says softly with a smile.

I smile a little and let out a shaky breath. She cups my cheeks before leaning down and kissing me softly. I kiss her back immediately, closing my eyes.

She pulls away after a while, causing me to whine. She chuckles a little while caressing my cheek. I lean into her touch, my eyes still closed.

"Let's go eat. Jeongyeon made dinner." Jihyo says as she kisses me one more time. I watch her get out of the bed as I grab her pillow and hug it tightly.

She laughs at the sight before walking to the side of the bed I was on. "You have to get up too, babygirl." She says as she rubs my side up and down gently.

I relax by her touch before whining softly. I was still sore from his activities. "I'll carry you, hun." She whispers in my ear and I slowly get up.

I make grabby hands at her and she chuckles again before picking me up slowly. I wrap my legs around her waist and my arms around her neck, burying my face in her neck.

I feel her start to walk, but I stopped paying attention after a couple seconds. I unconsciously start to gnaw on her neck, closing my eyes.

She starts to run her fingers through my hair as she walks down the stairs, humming softly in my ear. I lay my head on her shoulder with my eyes still closed.

The sounds in the kitchen were getting closer until I heard some talking. "What are we having for dinner?" I hear Momo whine loudly.

Jihyo stops humming and chuckles a little. "I'm pretty sure Jeongyeon has something good in mind." She says and I hear everyone stop talking.

"Is she asleep?" I hear Nayeon ask and I grip Jihyo's shirt tightly. "No, she's awake, but I don't think she wants to talk. Her voice might sound hoarse." Jihyo said as I bury my face deeper in her neck.

"Is she ok?" Momo asks softly, way different compared to the tone of voice she used a minute ago. "She's better." Jihyo states as she starts to walk again.

She gently sets me down in a chair before sitting next to me. I still had my eyes closed as she set my head on her shoulder. My phone starts to ring in my pocket, playing a Japanese ringtone.

I snap my eyes open and fumble to get my phone out and look at the name that popped up on the screen. I widen my eyes when I see who it is.
