Expect the Unexpected

Mina's POV

Jihyo finally caught on and gasped slightly. "Changmin!" She yells as she looks at him, her expression showing anger. "What?" He questions as he chuckles a little, walking up to me.

"She seems too innocent for this school don't you think?" He questions as he snakes his arms around my waist. A memory flashes in my mind and I immediately begin to freak out. I yelp and struggle to get out of his grip.

"What's with all the struggle. Feisty one aren't you?" He whispers in my ear. I was about to scream when I heard someone scream in pain right next to me. I turned my head as I wince in pain when he grips my waist tightly, putting pressure on the fresh cuts on my waist. He finally let go and I was now in the arms of Jihyo.

"Are you ok? Did he hurt you?" She questions me as I just look at Changmin. The memories wouldn't stop flooding in as I close my eyes tightly. I was breathing heavily when I heard the council room's door open, hearing footsteps afterward.

"What happened?" A girl with a high pitched voice asked. "Sana, you and Dahyun take Changmin to the office now and make sure to tell Jinyoung that I said to expel him immediately." Jihyo said, her voice laced with authority.

I still had my eyes closed but I heard footsteps shuffling to Changmin. I heard him groan before the footsteps started to fade.

"Jeongyeon, honey, I need you to bring Mina to the nurse with me. I need to make sure she wasn't injured anywhere." I hear Jihyo say. I was thinking of something when my mind went blank. Wait- Honey?

"Honey?" I ask out loud without intention, mentally slapping myself for doing so. "Are you an idiot?! Oh wait- you are. I didn't think you'd actually go this far though!!" Skylar yells as I open my eyes slowly and look around.

I spot a girl with boyishly short hair, looking at me with a small smile. I was confused about who it was before putting all the pieces together. Jeongyeon. It was Jeongyeon.

"Oh, yea. Mina meet my girlfriend, Jeongyeon." She tells me with a bright smile. I smiled at Jeongyeon but it was to hide the pain I was in. Yea I know it's only been an hour since we met but I was actually starting to have a crush on Jihyo.

Of course, nothing I ever want comes true. I should've expected it anyway. I knew I was just a freak with mental issues. My father made sure I knew that. I was still smiling, despite the fact I wanted to cry.

"Of course I'll go with you." Jeongyeon told Jihyo with a smile. I just kept quiet as we walked to the nurse's office. I was limping but I tried my best not to show it which seemed to work because no one noticed me. We arrived at the nurse's office and Jihyo peeked her head in.

She looked at us with a smile. "The nurse isn't here so I'll just look over you. My mother is a doctor so I know a few things." Jihyo explains and I just nod a little until it hit me. I stopped moving so Jihyo looked at me with concern.

"I-I'm pretty s-sure I'm fi-fine. Maybe a s-scratch or two b-bu-but I'm fine." I reassure her, Skylar almost slapping me because of my stuttering. "You idiot! Stop stuttering!!" Skylar yells in my head, causing me to start to have a headache.

"You could be but I'm just going to make sure. Come on. It won't be long." Jihyo ushers me into the room and I just limp over to the bed. "See. You're limping. You should've told me earlier and Jeong could've carried you." Jihyo says with concern as I just smile bitterly.

I forgot about Jeongyeon for a minute but of course, I only get that much time to escape from reality. I shrug at what Jihyo say and just swing my legs like a child. I never had a childhood and I was always curious as to what it felt like to have one. I always wonder what would've happened if I never came out to my parent, and they never found out about Skylar.
