Unintentional Meet

Mina's POV

"Nan eonjena neoneoneoneo hae~ neon eonja nananana hae~"

My alarm clock blared, causing me to wake up. I groaned and grabbed my phone from the nightstand, turning the alarm off and sitting up in my bed.

I lean against the headboard and slowly open my eyes. I wince slightly from a headache before hearing a banging on my door.

I look over at my door to see my mother barge in with a scowl.

"Didn't I tell you to turn down that alarm clock of yours. It wakes me up." She tells me as I look down.

"Sorry. I'll make sure to turn it down." I mumble as I rub the back of my neck.

"Good. Now get ready. You're going to a new school today and I don't want you to be late." My mom mumbled before leaving the room.

I sigh a little before getting up and heading to the bathroom. I stop in my tracks and back up to the mirror, looking at myself. I notice the bruise on my cheek as well as the handprint on my neck. I sigh a little before covering it best I can.

"Hurry up! We're going to be late!" My mom yelled from downstairs.

I inhale and exhale before getting dressed, grabbing my ring and putting it on my left ring finger.

I run downstairs to see my mother tapping her foot, showing that she was starting to get impatient.

"Next time, be faster or there will be consequences." She tells me before handing me my pills. I look up at her and tilt my head in confusion.

"You have to take them before you eat lunch so you have to take them to school." She mumbles before walking back to her bedroom.

I nod a little before putting the pills in my bag. I put my shoes on then walk out of the house and to the campus.

My home wasn't far from the campus so I just walked instead of taking the bus.

I arrive on campus 10 minutes later and look around. I was a bit late so there weren't many students walking around campus.

I started to walk straight to the main office so I can pick up my schedule since I didn't have time to pick it up earlier.

While walking to the main office, I bump into a girl that I didn't notice was there.

"S-Sor-Sorry." I manage to stutter out while looking up.

I look up to see a girl with what looks like bunny teeth, looking at me with a smile.

"It's fine. No need to be sorry. Are you new here?" She asks me and I just nod a little, staying silent.

She smiles again and holds out her hand. I look at it for a second, tilting my head in confusion.

"I'm Im Nayeon, Member of the Student Council. Do you need anything?" She asks me as she keeps her hand out.

I finally catch on to what she's doing and shake her hand quickly before bringing it back to my side.

"I'm M-Myoui Mina. I-I was actually about t-to go to the m-main office." I tell her while stuttering.

I hear her mumble something before looking at her phone.

"I'm free for some time so I'll bring you to the office then show you around. How does that sound?" She asks while looking at me.

I hesitantly nod and immediately see a bright smile on her face.

"Great!" She says excitingly before grabbing my hand, intertwining our fingers. "Let's go cutie." She says while starting to walk forward, bringing me along with her.

I was sure I was blushing right now, but I looked down and tried to hide it.

After a couple of minutes she stops, causing me to almost run into her but I stopped myself.

"Here we are. I'll grab your schedule then we can tour the campus." She explains and I nod.

She goes in, leaving me to stand and wait outside. I lean against the wall as my headache gets worse.

"Hey, guys! Look over there! Seems like we got ourselves a new play toy." A random boy shouts which causes me to turn around.

I see a group of guys walking towards me and rub my left arm unconsciously.

He finally gets close enough and smirks. "Hello, little girl. You seem lost." He says as he bites his lip.

I try to say something but nothing wanted to come out. I just had my mouth slightly open as I looked around.

He was about to come closer when Nayeon finally came back.

"Alright, I ha- Changmin what are you doing here. You still have class." She says as she looks at him.

He stopped acting like he was earlier and put up a sweet boy act. "Sorry, Nayeon. The boys and I had to drop this at the main office." He says before handing her some papers.

"Ah, I see. Well, get back to class now." She says with a small smile.

He nods with the same small smile before sending me a wink then leaving to go back to class, his friends following him.

"You ok?" She asks me after coming back from dropping off the papers. I didn't even notice she left.

"Y-Yea." I mumble as I look over at her.

She smiles brighter than she was a moment ago before looking over what I assume is my schedule.

"Ah. You're a music and dance major. How about this, we'll tour the rest of the campus and tour the music and dance hall last." She explains while waving for someone.

"That's f-fine with me.' I say with as I nod.

She smiles as the person is beside her now. "Good to hear. This is Jihyo by the way. She's majoring in music as well as dance so she'll be in your basic classes." She explains as the Jihyo girl waves.

"She's also apart of the Student Council so if you need any help, she'll always be there." She says with a smile as I look at the other girl.

Jihyo smiles at me and it makes me smile back a little, but only a little. I hear a beep and look at Nayeon since it came from her direction. She looks at her phone then smiles apologetically.

"Something came up at the office. Do you think you can show her around Jihyo?" She asks as she looks at the mentioned girl.

Jihyo nods with a smile and Nayeon runs off to the main office. I look back at Jihyo to see that she was smiling at me.

"Hello. You already know my name but let me properly introduce myself. I'm Park Jihyo. What's your name?" She asks with a soft voice.

"O-Oh. My name is Myoui M-Mina." I say quietly as I bite my bottom lip.

"That's a beautiful name. Well, I hope we become great friends. Let's start the tour shall we?" She asks and I nod.

This is going to be a long day.....
