"Alex , I'm back ." Liam said walking through the door of Alex's apartment early hours of the morning , it seemed really quiet . "Alex ?" he opened Alex's bedroom door to find Stella and Alex in the same bed , dead asleep together . It was something he longed to see , he left the room with a smile , slowly closing the door . Without disturbance he made some breakfast and chilled in front of the T.V playing some games . 

The sun began to rise , the sky was full of many bright colors "Liam ?" Alex walked out his room , his hair was everywhere and his glasses were hanging a little off his nose . "Have you been up all night ?" 

"Oh yeah , I couldn't sleep ." Liam glanced at Alex for just a second , he burst into laughter at just the sight . 

"What's so funny ?"Alex asked with a slight grumpy face  . "You didn't pause by the way ."

"Oh shit ." Liam picked up the controller but by the time he did so , it was too late . "Fuck I died ." he put out his cigarette in an astray beside him .

"When did you start smoking again ?" Alex asked pouring boiling water into three mugs . 

"Oh um , on my way back I stopped at a gas station ." Liam confessed to his unhealthy habit , which he had quit 2 years back . Alex took him coffee "Thank you ." then he put coffee beside Stella who was still sleeping . Trying not to disturb her rest , he closed the door and stood by the living room window which faced the horizon , the sunrise and sunset was perfectly visible from there . "I see you still look out the window every morning ." Liam said as he stood up to watch the sunrise alongside Alex  ."

"It's always beautiful , the start of a new day ." Alex said sipping his coffee . 

"I know I forgot , but I said we needed to talk about something ." Liam said , looking for reassurance . 

"I remember , I wondered why you never decided to talk to me about it ." Alex said , looking back into Liams eyes . 

"I wanted to talk about the incident that happened a year ago ." Liam said , every time he tried to bring it up , Alex would dodge it and do something else , this time , no wasn't an answer . "Please I'm your best friend ." 

"Fine ." Alex said without an argument back , this was about a year ago , he had always been a very open person , this was the incident , his heart felt crushed from this incident . "A year ago , I came clean about having feelings for this girl several years younger than me . We Started dating , the longer we were dating the more time I was never home . Sasha felt heart broken , she said she was going to the bathroom , she was still in there half an hour later , I entered . She had cut herself and was left to bled out , we were lucky she survived . That same day the girl left me , all our promises went down the drain . From then I honestly just cut the world off ." he knew that Sasha loved Alex , she was scared to lose him to another women . 

"This isn't the first time then ?" Liam asked after hearing the story , it was definitely a rhetorical question . 

"Liam , please , you will regret not telling her how you feel , she has a reputation of attempting suicide ." Alex said in a voice of frustration , he sounded like he was full of regret . 

"I don't want to see you or your sister hurt again , I will be there for you guys ." Liam said sturdily , he walked away placing his cup in the sink . "I better go shower , don't want to be late for visiting hours ." he giggled .

"Yeah I'll go awake Stella ." Alex responded . He walked into his room , Stella was sitting up in his bed , sipping her coffee . 

"Oh Alex , good morning." Stella said smiling , it was still so early , he was surprised to see her awake .
