Untold story

Nearly another week had passed , it was the morning of New year's Eve . Stella called Liam , she tried talking as soft as possible on the phone without Alex listening .

"Meet me for coffee in 20 minutes ." Stella demanded , it was urgent .

"Okay I'll meet you there ." Liam agreed , he cared about Stella and wanted to be there for her and Alex whenever he could .

Alex sat alone , playing games not bothered with where Liam was going or who he was seeing , what bothered him and made him worried was that Stella never contacted him all day . It was 12 pm , time for lunch . Alex paced up and down checking his phone , he felt like he was going crazy .

Ring ring

"Hey stella . I've been worried all day " Alex picked up the phone call .

"What you doing tonight ? Let's all go out for dinner ." She said talking loudly as they was chitty chatter in the back ground .

"Sounds great ." Alex said trying to hide his excitement , if this was in person , he wouldn't have been able to hide it .

The sun came through the clouds , Alex looked out the window and was glad he could final hang up some washing  outside .

A few hours passed and Alex was getting all washed up with Liam for their dinner with Stella . Liams white clothes complimented his tanned skin . Alex wore dark clothes which complimented his pale skin . They were both ready to Roll .

"Hey it's so great to see you !" Stella said hugging Alex tightly and giving Liam a nice friendly open hug .

"It's a pleasure to see you too ." Alex said taking a seat next to her at a table , Liam sat on the oposite side from them .

Two hours had passed and they had just finished dinner , still seated at the table , Liam edged Stella on "Stella why don't you tell Alex why you called us here ."

Stella felt like she couldn't speak.  Her words were lost , her heart was racing , biting her lip . Alex placed his hand on top of hers and looked into her eyes . "Alex ." She started but that was also the end . Stella jumped up and ran outside for air , her blond hair that seemed to be tied in a high pony bounced along with her .

"Stella !" Alex called running after her , everyone there stopped to give them a look .

"I can't do this Alex ." Stella started cheeks became wet with tears . "I can't be your friend anymore ."

"Why ? Is everything okay ? Did he hurt you ?" Alex tried comforting her , trying to get an answer without getting too close . Meanwhile Liam paid the bill and watched from the door .

"I'm sorry , I can't ." Stella pushed Alex away , running towards a scrappy looking car , inside was Tom who wore a cheeky smirk , putting out his smoke they drove off .

"Alex , I'm sorry I think she should be the one to tell you ." Liam tapped him on the shoulder , walking towards the car .

Alex didn't say a word , on the way home . A few hours passed and he decided to sit by his window looking at the colorful fireworks that lit up the sky . On his lap sat his cat which kept him company . Hitting 12 am , it was now the new year and the amount of fireworks increased , Alexs cat was sleeping soundly from all those calming tablets .  Liam looked up for a minute , he saw Alex starring at the sky and it looked as though he was crying . Apon taking a closer look , he really was crying . Liam stood up with a long sigh , walking over to Alex but Alex paid no attention to him .

"Let's go ." Liam said and suddenly Alex jumped.  Wiping his eyes and he looked at Liam with confusion.

"Where to ?" Alex asked in a choking voice .

"Well , to get the girl . You love her don't you ?" Liam asked but it was really just a rhetorical question .

"Liam , she doesn't seem to want anything to do with me ." Alex came to that conclusion but he didn't know , he didn't know what she didn't want to say .

"You're assuming too much , come ." Liam pulled him up calmly .

The both of them traveled to Stella's house , the lights were still on so they must have been awake . Approaching the door , Alex knocked . Tom answered the door .
"What do you want ?"

"I've come to see Stella ." Alex brushed off the fact he sounded threatening .

"Stella , someone's here to see you ." Tom shouted inside the house then turned back to Alex "She's coming now ."

"Alex ." Stella looked at him with big eyes , she wasn't expecting this . She closed the door behind her and now it was just the two of them outside , left to talk .

"Talk to me please , what is it you wanted to tell me back at the restraunt ?" Alex asked walking closer to her , he was so close Stella could feel his warm breath on her face , it smelled like cherries .

"I'm ........." She paused then stuttered her next word "p.....pregnant ."
Alexs face became blank , he couldn't believe what he was hearing , did she have a boyfriend ? Who did she have sex with ? How did this happen ?  All these question repeated themselves inside his head , he just stood there with nothing to say .
"I'm sorry ." Stella started crying then Alex came back from him inside his mind .

"No , I'm sorry ." Alex hugged her , it's what she needed . She didn't need him to be mean or ask questions and she didn't need him to abandon her . "I'm here and I'm never leaving ."

"I don't want you to leave ." Stella whispered as they began to hug tighter . "Please forgive me for being weak ."

"Listen Stella , I need to know , whose the father ?" Alex looked into her eyes , she couldn't look away .

"Tom ." She whispered . "I didn't want to ."

"Stella , did he force it on you ?" Alex grabbed her shoulders , she looked away biting her tongue . "Stella , tell me please , did he rape you ?" Her eyes closed and she started crying , her face went red . She nodded slowly . Alex let go of her.  Forcing himself inside the house , he walked up to Tom , punching him repeatedly in the face . "You're all talk you stupid bastard ." Eventually Tom fell to the floor but he was strong enough to not pass out . "Stella come , take what you need , your coming to live with me ."

"Alex but ..." Stella started but she couldn't finish .

"I refuse to let you stay here any longer ." Alex turned around to look at her and he was crying just as much as her . While Stella packed , Alex sat holding an ice bag to his knuckles . He took one look at Tom who was lying on the floor , he didn't seem to want to get up but at least he wasn't dead . "You got everything you need ?"

"Yes ." Stella replied carrying three big bags . Alex got up taking some from her , like a gentlemen . In that moment Stella watched Alex walk infront of her , she finally knew .
