A month after formally meeting Napholus, Hirana has made acquaintance with her Warden friend, he told her the tale of how he was made a Warden since birth and eventually growing up within the ranks of the Order.
She was fascinated with his power even for a mere Scorchboon, though the clan may not be of total nobility, they are fierce warriors and mages, usually placed amongst the best ranks of the Armies and also being the vanguards of the front lines.
They specialize in flame magic, whether it be conjuring Flame Atronachs or simple streams and specks of fire, Scorchboons were highly praised for their advanced understanding of the element of destruction.
Visiting her weekly, Napholus would always come by Hirana's Apothecary, either to seek medical aid, or to show another tale of his adventures.
He was a natural field agent, the best demon hunter their squad has, making him a very valuable asset and at the same time a beloved leader.
No man nor woman in his assigned Legion could top his skills when it comes to deceiving, hunting, tracking, or expelling demons.
That made his influence spread far and wide, at the same time, Napholus had a kind heart, generous hands, and open mind.
He would help anyone no matter how petty the situation may be. He helped a fisherman bring back his boat, he cut crops for a farmer who has lost his work force, he carried and delivered supplies from a grandmother to her son in another hold.
He was deemed as the Kind Warden of Therias.
But he cared little for titles, rewards, and praises. Napholus wanted to live a simple life at a certain age, growing up on the battlefield made his warrior heart satisfied with all the glory and honor he has received throughout his years growing up.
He even thought about retiring early, but many have disagreed with his opinion. He was far too powerful and reliable to be simply let go of from the Warden Order.
Throughout the months, Napholus received various promotions, eventually reaching the Lieutenant General rank in his Legion, though he was also offered to be the General but the responsibilities were too uptight and stressful he said.
Turning down the promotion, he instead aids his General, who does not need much aiding, leaving him free of any Warden stress.
One day, he journeys to Hirana's household once again, riding a horse, wearing a Warden Nobility robe matched with the signature silver armor.
Hirana notices his mana presence within the area, and walks out her door, greeting him with a smile. "So what can I do for you now, Naph? Should I heal another wound? Or should I listen to another intriguing tale?" asked Hirana.
Naph replies "I simply came here to tell you, i'm promoted to Lieutenant General. Less responsibilities for me honestly, that's why I came here, hoped we could spend some time together."
"I gladly accept your invitation." replied Hirana, matching it with a genuine grin of joy. Napholus then places his palms over his armor, using a special incantation, making the armor disappear as so the robe, then a simply matching set of peasant clothes replaced it.
"I thought we could go to the sea side today, there's a shore near here I would want you to see." He climbs up the back of his horse, and offers his hand to Hirana, helping her get up as well, sitting behind him.
After a brief ride to the shore, they gaze upon the sun slowly setting down by the horizon. Hirana was mesmerized by the sight, "Naph, look! It's so beautiful and wonderfully pleasing, isn't it?" Naph simply looks at the sun and turns to Hirana, "She sure is."
