They were doing singing up on the stage that you could volunteer to join so Richie volunteered

Richie and Amber went out to dance and I was.... jealous?!
Eddie: Zach let's go dance

Me and Zach went out to dance but I couldn't stop looking at Richie with her
Then Richie went up on stage and they set up everything
He looked really sad up there

I started to tear up as I was dancing with Zach, my eyes still on Richie
Zach: hey you ok? You seem kinda out of it.

Once Richie was done singing he said something I never thought he would
Richie: Eddie... I'm sorry.
All eyes went on me and I started to cry a little

I ran out of the dance and sit over behind one of the school buildings but Richie had ran after me
Richie: Eddie please! I can't stand being away from you any longer!
Eddie: Richie.....
Richie: Please, I need to know what I can do to make it better!
Eddie: There's nothing Richie... Nothing anymore...

Eddie: just you singing the song for me... Come over here and I'll show you what that did...
Richie came and sat next to me and I crawled on his lap so we were chest to chest and I kissed him
He kissed me back and soon we were making out
I was so happy to feel his touch again
His soft lips, and soft skin on me felt so nice
But then I pulled away
Eddie: let's go back to your house? What do you say?
