My First and Last Love

Chapter 2- Just Practice

Quinn has a plan and she has spent weeks waiting to get the courage up and follow through. Those weeks haven't been the best since she came out to her parents and stuff. They are in Glee Club and they have been getting ready for Regionals. They had just finished and Quinn jumped up and walked over the Rachel.
"Hey Rach." Quinn said in a soft voice.
"Hey Quinn, what's up?" Rachel asked walking towards the door.
"I was wondering in you could help me with singing. I mean I know it's not major but I still need a little help with Fly/I believe I Can Fly. So will you help me?" Quinn asked.
"Yeah of course. I will be at you place after school." Rachel said and walked away leaving Quinn with a smile on her face. The rest of the day couldn't have felt longer. Once she got out of school she went to Santana's car and ordered Santana to drive her home as fast as possible. Once Santana got to her house she saw Rachel was already there and on the couch talking to her mom.
"Oh, hey." Quinn said surprised as she walked in the living room.
"Hey mom." Quinn said and walked in kissed her mom on the cheek.
"Hey baby, your friend was telling me about you in Glee Club." Judy said.
"Oh, well me and Rachel are going to my room." Quinn said trying to get Rachel upstairs before be mom starts sharing embarrassing. Quinn lead Rachel upstairs and it was the longest 2 minutes ever. They got to Quinn's room and were still in scilence. Rachel sat on Quinn's bed as Quinn put her stuff away. Quinn changed into something other than her Cheerio's uniform which ended up being sweatpants and a t-shirt.
"Quinn are you ok?" Rachel asked looking at her.
"Yeah I am fine, what do you ask?" Quinn asked a little nervous.
"Well you seem very jumpy and on edge. Are you sure your ok?" Rachel said taking Quinn's hand and pulling her to sit next to her.
"I am fine I just need a snack. I will be right back?" Quinn said and darted out the door and ran to the bathroom. The first thing she thought of was to call Santana.
On the phone:
"Hey Quinn, shouldn't you be with Rachel?" Santana asked.
"Yeah I locked myself in the bathroom. Santana I am freaking out, my heart is beating out of my chest and I am starting to sweat a little." Quinn said.
"Is Quinn Fabray nervous?" Santana asked a little to happy.
"What? No." Quinn said.
"Yes you are!" Santana said.
"Whatever, just help me." Quinn said.
"Come on I have to let this go on a little longer. I am really enjoy this." Santana said.
"Santana!" Quinn said trying to get her to focus.
"Sorry ok put on deodorant so you don't stink, turn the air conditioning, and if you feel you heart rate pick up drink some water and count to 10." Santana said.
"Thanks Santana, I seriously can't live without you." Quinn said.
"Your right, you can't. Now go get your girl." Santana said and hung up. Quinn went to go get a snack cause she was actually hungry and turned the air conditioning on as well. She go back to her room and saw Rachel looking at pictures in her room.
"Ready?" Rachel asked.
"Um, yeah let's do it." Quinn said. Rachel started to song and they sang. They started off on opposite sides of the room and then as the song went on and the sang they met in the middle of Quinn room face to face. Quinn could take it anymore. Quinn cupped Rachel's face and closed the gap between them and gentle press her lips on Rachel's. Quinn tried to pull away but Rachel pulled her into another kiss. There lips moved together as one and didn't part.
Knock knock knock.
"Rachel you dad is here." Judy said from the other side of the door.
"Ok thank you." Rachel said.
"I guess you have to go." Quinn said still in a daze on what just happened.
"I guess so." Rachel said looking in Quinn green eyes. "I will, um, see you tomorrow." Rachel added. Rachel got her bag and her phone and kissed Quinn on the cheek on her way out.
~next day at school~
Quinn got to school happier than ever. She walked up to her locker where Santana and Brittany had been waiting for her. Quinn walked up to her locker humming. She had been humming the same tune all morning.
"Hey Q." Brittany said.
"Hey Quinn." Santana said.
"Hey guys." Quinn said a little more cheerful than before.
"So are you ready for Cheerio tryouts?" Brittany asked.
"Yeah can't wait." Quinn said.
"Q are you ok?" Santana asked.
"Yeah never better." Quinn said and continued to hum. "Why do you ask?" Quinn asked.
"Well because you are humming and being really happy. Are you high?" Santana asked.
"No I am not high I'm just happy." Quinn said.
"So how did your date with Rachel go?" Brittany asked.
"It wasn't a date, and it was nice." Quinn said then a huge grin came across Quinn's face when she remembered the kiss in her head.
"Oh, my god, I know that look! Something happened between you and Berry." Santana said.
Brrring!
"Gotta go. See you guys in Glee Club." Quinn said walking away.

Quinn sat in the back corner from everyone else. Rachel walked in and Quinn and Rachel's eyes met and it made Rachel's cheeks red.
"Hey Rach, over here." Finn said from the opposite side of Quinn. Quinn's smile dropped.
"I think I am going to sit with Quinn today." Rachel said and Quinn looked up at her with a smile on her face. Rachel walked over and sat next to Quinn and held her hand so no one can see.
"Quit smiling like an idiot." Rachel whispered in her ear making Quinn giggle.  Santana and Brittany walked in hand in hand and Santana's eyes immediately went to Quinn and a smirk came across Santana's face.
~after Glee Club~
"Quinn we have to get something straight." Rachel said once everyone left the choir room.
"Ok?" Quinn said a little nervous.
"We can't keep doing this. At least until I find a way to tell Finn." Rachel said. "Can you do that for me? All I need are a few weeks."
"Yeah I can do that. I have waited a whole year, what's a few more weeks." Quinn said.
"Thank you." Rachel said.
"I should get going. I, um, have cheerleading tryouts." Quinn said trying to hide her disappointment.
"Your going for cheerleading again?" Rachel asked.
"Yeah." Quinn said. "I gotta go." Quinn added quickly before she completely loses it. Quinn was out the door in no time then once she got to a bathroom she let it out. Then headed out onto the field to tryout.
