Chapter 7

Raph POV

I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

'What the? What was that noise?' I thought. I turned over and smiled at Skylar. She had her back to me and was still sleeping. I closed my eyes and laid back down again.

Then, it happened again. It sounded like a whimper almost. Or the sound of crying. I opened my eyes and looked over at Skylar again. When I looked closer I could see her shaking.

I turned her o er and saw tears streaming down her face. Then, she made that sound again.

"No. No. Don't." She mumbled.

"Sky. Sky." I said, shaking her lightly.

"No!" She yelled, sitting up. She was breathing hard and gasping for air as the tears streamed down her face.

"Hey. Hey. It's okay. I'm here." I said. I gathered her in my arms. She shook violently as she hugged my neck and continued to cry.

"Please don't let him. Please don't let him." She sobbed. "Who?" I asked. I brought her to where I could see her face. "What happened?" I asked.

"I..I was alone. In the dark. Then, he was there. He was chasing me. I couldn't get away. When he caught me he..he..he cut me again. But this time, down my neck to my stomach. There was so much blood and..and...and it never ended." She sobbed out.

"Hey. He's not going to get you. He can't get you here. Your safe with me. Me and the boys won't let anything happen to you." I said, cradling her in my arms.

"Is everything okay?" A voice said. I looked up and saw Leo standing there with Mikey and Donnie with him. "Yeah. Leo, I need to talk to you." I said.

I told Sky that I would be right back and that Donnie and Mikey would take care of her. She nodded and sniffled as I got up.

Me and Leo went to stand outside.

"What happened?" He asked. "She had a nightmare about the guy that attacked her. I think she's not telling m..us something. We need to find this guy. I have a feeling this isn't the last nightmare that is gonna happen." I said. Leo nodded. "I'll get right on it." He said. "Now, you better get in there. She needs you." He said smiling. I laughed and went back in.

"Alright guys. She's okay. I'll take it from here." I said. Mikey and Donnie smiled at Skylar and stood. "See you later." Mikey said, smiling at her. She had calmed down now and smiled back.

Me and Sky were left alone again. I laid down and she laud down next to me with her back facing me.

After a few minutes of silence, she turned over and faced me. "I'm sorry." She said quietly, not looking me in the eye. "For what?" I said, propping myself up on one elbow.

She sat up and turned to face me. "For being loud and waking you up. I'm messing with you and the other boys life." She said, looking down.

"Bull." I said. "Don't you see how much Mikey and Donnie like you. Even Leo is getting attached to you. Your practically one of us now." I said.

"Yeah. Right. I don't fit in anywhere." She said quietly. "Now you fit in somewhere." I said. "Now, you need some sleep." I said. She shook her head and looked down.

"Sky. You have to sleep." I said. "Oh god. Now I'm turning into Leo!" I said. She laughed quietly and nodded. "Okay." She said. I laid down and she laid down too. She was facing me and closed her eyes an snuggled into the blanket.

I waited a minuet. Her breathing evened out and so I closed my eyes and was immediately fast asleep.
