Chapter 13

Raph POV

"Never." I promised her. I gently picked her up and sat on the bed. I held her and stroked her hair as she calmed down.

I felt her relax a bit so I laid down with her nestled in my arms. Her breathing evened out and rolled over, facing away from me, still cuddled up to my leg.

"Raph. A voice whispered after a while as I was drifting of as well.

"Huh, oh yeah. Yeah?" I mumbled, shaking my head trying to clear it of sleep.

"Hey. You gotta go. They found something. We think we found him." Casey said.

"Oh God. Will you stay here with her?" I asked. He nodded and walked over to the bed.

I stood and bent over to kiss Sky on the cheek.

"I'll be back as soon as I can." I whispered.

I walked to the door and looked one last time. I smiling as Sky snuggled up with Casey.

"Alright, what have we got, whoa." I said the three turtles stood frozen. In front of them was a black hooded figure.

"You." I growled. I tried to run at him, but Leo stopped me. "Remember what you promised Sky. Nothing stupid." He said in a low voice. I looked at the floor and nodded. When I looked back up, the stranger was right in front of us.

"Hello Raphael." The low voice grumbled.

"Yeah. Save it. What do you want?"

"I just wanted to see how much she was suffering. Judging by the bags under your eyes, I think it's working pretty well. Especially since our last.....visit." He said.

"What the hell did you do to her!" I screamed.

"No need to scream. I'm just giving her what she deserves for what she has done to me." He said. I sensed a hint of sadness in his voice, but I didn't feel bad for him.

"What did she every do to you?" I yelled. I couldn't take it anymore. Someone had to take down this bastard, and no one else was making a move to do so.

I ran toward him in anger.

Then, it went black.
