Chapter 6

Skylar POV

"I'm not hungry." I said. I had attempted to eat the pizza, but I couldn't. I was lost in thought.

I walked to Raph's room and closed the door quietly. I went and laid down on the couch and just stared up at the ceiling.

'Who was the man that attacked me?'

'Did I really know him?'

'Would I get away with just a scar on my cheek?'

'Would he come back for me?'

I thought about these things as they ran in my mind.

There was a soft knock on the door and I sat up.

"Come in." I said.

Donnie appeared in the doorway. "Hey. Sorry to bother you. But you need to take some meds so that you can sleep tonight without pain." He said. I smiled and took the pills from him. I threw them in my mouth and took a swig of water. "Thanks." I said. He smiled.

He turned to leave. He turned back toward me as he got to the door. "By the way, I think Raph's worried about you." Donnie said smiling.

I smiled back and got up to follow him. We went back out to the living room where all the guys were.

"Hey Donnie, you should get April over here. I bet she'd like Skylar." Leo said.

"I thought so to but I called her and she's busy." Donnie said.

I plopped down on the could next to Leo. I sat as far to the edge as I could get. "You okay?" He asked suspiciously.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I responded.

~~~~few hours later~~~~

"Alright movie night!" Mikey yelled as he ran and jumped onto the couch. I followed him, laughing.

"Alright scoot over." Raph said gruffly. I couldn't tell if he was mad or if he just wasn't in a good mood. Either way, no reason to get on his bad side. I scooted over. Eventually I was wedged in between Raph and Mikey with Leo on the other side of Mikey. Donnie was rested on the floor.

"Alright! Now, what should we watch?" Donnie said. "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes!" Mikey screamed. "Well, okay then." Leo said.

About 20 minutes into the movie, I started to lean on Raph. Eventually my eyelids were growing heavy and keeping my eyes open was a challenge.

After another 5 minutes, I couldn't do it. I shifted and snuggled up to Raph and Mikey and welcomed sleep.

Nobody POV

The movie finished and everyone clapped and Mikey cheered. "That was a good movie! What did you think..." He said looking over at Skylar. "Oh. And, she's out." He said quieter. Raph looked down and smiled at her.

"Wait Raph did you just Smile?" Mikey asked. "Shut it." Raph growled. Mikey put his hands up in defeat.

Raph stood carefully and picked Skylar's small body up. "Night guys." He said as he walked off to his room.

He laid Skylar down and then laid down next to her. She snuggled up to him as he covered them both with a blanket. "Good night." He whispered. He lightly kissed her forehead before closing his eyes for a dreamless sleep.
