(A/n: I'm so sorry in advance for this chapter. And this is a very long chapter probably around 2000 words so enjoyyyy)
I fix my pink blouse and set up the kitchen table. I jump around excitedly from one room to the next.
I look in the mirror quickly to make sure I look okay.
It's thanksgiving and my sister, Mary-Anne is coming from college. I haven't seen my sister since last year and I miss her more then the world. When she was in school with me she would let me sit with her. Her friends stopped people from being mean to me and I was happy. After she left I lost all protection. Bullies just got meaner and well here I am but after 365 long ass days I get to see her again.
"Calm down honey your gonna get all sweaty from jumping so much" my mom says as she places the turkey in the oven.
"I'm sorry I'm just so happy I get to see her again." I say while laughing a little. The past week has been good. I mean there was still dad and drinking but school was okay. I had free block and morning block to hang out and talk with Ethan and at lunch me, Ethan and Grayson sit together. Some people are still unkind but atleast I found a source of happiness.
My dad comes down the stairs completely sober and I smile happily. It felt like my life was turning around and it couldn't feel better.
We hear a knock on the door and my smile goes even wider. I run towards the front door and frantically open it. I see Mary-Anne and I jump on top of her, tackling her to the ground.
"Hey Allison" She says while engulfing me into a hug
We get up off the ground laughing. I fix my hair and she messes it up again.
"Hey sweetheart" my mom says wrapping her arms around Annie
"Hi Ma" she says to her. My dad comes and hugs her too. I smile at the scene. I'm happy to have my family again
"Come here dweeb" Annie says making a hole in the group hug for me to join.
After catching up in the living room we sit down at the kitchen table. We say grace and start to eat.
"So hows California, did you meet any celebrities" I ask Annie
"I didn't meet any celebrities but it's good. Volleyballs going great. I'm a close choice for team captain and the guys are really cute" she says to me saying "really cute" quietly.
We giggle and my mom smiles at us
We all laugh and talk and it time to clean up. After washing dishes me and Annie go to her room.

"So tell me. You got a secret boyfriend mom and dad don't know about" she says to me wiggling her eyebrows as we snuggle up in blankets on her queen sized bed.
I lightly push her and laugh.
"There's no boyfriend" I say blushing
"Cmon there has to be some guy. With a fine ass like yours I'm sure guys come running at you hunny" she says
