We drive along the golden wheat fields in Ethan's pickup truck. I had shotgun so Grayson had to sit in the back. The windows were down and I stuck my head out. The cold wind blew through my brown hair as I closed my eye to the sound of peace and the muffled sound of the music from inside the car. I come back in the car to listen to Grayson ramble on about how there's football tryout coming out.

"Please Ethan" he begs his brother. Ethan keeps nodding, showing no interest.

"I think you should. You'd be really good at it" I say giving my opinion

"He is really good. He was the captain and the quarterback in our old school" Grayson says

Ethan rolls his eyes and I look up at the boy driving in shock.

"Come on the school team could really use you" I say holding onto his shoulder.

He laughs.

'Fine' he signs to us

Me and Grayson yell a hooray in excitement.

After a long ride of singing songs and laughter we pull into the orchard. I get out and grab some baskets from the trunk. Grayson takes the baskets from me so I jump onto Ethan's back. They start to walk towards the back as the occasional branch made its way to my hair.

I giggled when a lady bug landed in Ethan's hair. I pick it up and smile.

Ethan's POV

I look over at Grayson and I see him smiling at me. I knew it was because Allison was smiling. She hadn't done that since today. It's been two weeks since she came back from her 3 week break and it's getting better. I hear her giggle and my smile grows even more.

I'm glad she's happy.

Allison's POV

We get to the back of the orchard and Ethan lets me down carefully. I grab a basket and run to one of the Apple trees. I see the ladder and place it down in front of me. I start to shake as I reach up for the Apple. I stop shaking when two warm arms wrap around my thighs. Ethan rest his head on the side of my things looking up at me. I giggle and reach up again. I grab the Apple and I fall. As if it were a movie, Ethan easily catches me.

He holds me close. My heart beats quick as my palms get sweaty. Our faces near eachother as I swallow the lump in my throat. His breath became shallow as he looked from my eyes to my lips.

I lean in and so does he. Our lips meet in perfect harmony as my heart flutters for this boy.

"Ewwwwwww" Grayson stands there staring at us with a disgusted look on his face. Ethan let's go if me so I can stand. We both start laughing like crazy.

Grayson starts to lead us towards the pumpkin patch. Grayson runs towards a pumpkin as I see something different that catches my eye. Large and small rows of sunflowers planted in the meadow.

I run towards them and smile. I take out my camera and look through the view finder. I click a few picture then change my angle.

The viewfinder goes black and I move my face in confusion. I see Ethan standing in front of me with a smirk on his face.

"Move asshole I'm tryna take some photos" I say to him

'Take some of me' he says before wiggling his eyebrows

I giggle before saying fine.

He does some funny poses then some serious ones. This boy was very attractive. He comes to me to look at the pictures. He steals my camera and starts to run around the field. He points it at me making me run away and cover my face.

I giggle and take my hands off my face. Ethan takes some pictures of me then smiles as he looks them over.

We start to walk back over to Grayson in comfortable silence until I speak up.

"Hey E?" I ask

He looks at me signalling me to continue

"What are we." I ask cautiously

I didn't want to loose my best friend

He smiles at me then signs

'What do you want us too be'

"Um I don't know I just I-i" I start to stutter as he gets closer to me. His body towering over mine.

"I um" I look up at his lips as his soft hand hold my face.

He leans down and kisses me with passion.

With care

With love

He moves back and gets down on one knee

'Will you be my girlfriend' he say before pulling a sunflower out of the ground and moving it close to me

I take the sunflower in my hands and smile

"Yes"
