When they arrived at the little restaurant, Yoongi and Tae were sat at a small booth. Facing once another as they they waited for their sushi boat to arrive.

"I really like your shirt." Tae said, pointing at the shirt Yoongi was wearing. "Oh, Uh, Thank you." Yoongi stuttered, perhaps Tae's fashion remained the same.

"You know? I think I have one just like it at home." Tae giggled, he sipped on his water. "Doubt it." Yoongi laughed back.

"So, what exactly have you been up to?" Tae asked, he stirred his drink with the straw, propping a hand on the table and setting his chin on it. "Well, I've been traveling a lot. Honestly, no real career. I was a piano teacher for a bit but I stopped." Yoongi shrugged.

"I guess I'm hoping to find my answer here." Yoongi's eyes met Tae's. "I hope you do." Tae smiled, a genuine smile this time. "I do too." Yoongi smiles back.

The moment lasted a split second, but that small moment was enough reassurance to Yoongi to know that no matter what happened - he wouldn't give up on Tae so easily.

Even if he had to lie.

The sushi boat arrived, and Tae was the first to grab a pair of chopsticks and shove a piece in his mouth. Yoongi munched on his as he watched Tae eat.

It wasn't a date. But it sure felt like it.
